I HAD A GOOD LAUGH WITH BARNEY FRANK, they very controversial and outspoken Politician from MASS. He could do stand up comedy, if he looses his seat in Congress...At a TOWN HALL MEETING yesterday, an idiot female...(it could have been an idiot male-no sexual things implied here..) had a photo of OBAMA that had been altered..with mustache and Swasticas...She asked Barney Frank how he cold support a NAZI like OBAMA (reference to health care)
He said, quickly, I will revert to my hertiage(JEWISH-bu t he didnt say it) I will answer your question with another question...."What planet do you spend most of your time on?" I thought it clever and hysterical. He then compared her intelligence to a dining room table....
I hope when he is no longer a COngresman, he will be available for talk shows, weddings and Bar Mitzvahs.
ALMOST INSTANT VEGGIE CURRY
THIS MORNING I LOOKED INTO THE FRIG AT THE STORE AND SAW TWO AGING YELLOW SQUASH, AND ONE SMALL OVER RIPE GREEN SQUASH THAT i FORGOT TO USE....NEXT TO THOSE POOR THINGS I SAW A BOWL OF LEFT OVER SAUCE FROM THE MACARONI AND CHEESE THAT I MADE SATURDAY...IT WAS VERY CHUNKY WITH THE DICE TOMATOES WITH THE CRUSHED TOMATOES...... ON THE SHELFF BELOW, I SAW TWO ONIONS, ONE OF WHICH WAS STARTED..AND A SLICE MISSING...AND A CELERY THAT SHOULD BE USED SOON OR ELSE....THERE WERE SOME CAPERS IN A JAR......
MY MIND WORKS QUICKLY (SOMETIMES) IN A MINUTE, THE SQUASH,CELERY,ONION,HALF A GREENPEPPER(LEFTOVER) WERE CHOPPED UP.....AND THROWN IN AN IRON ENAMELED POT...THE BOWL OF LEFT OVER SAUCE WAS THROWN ON TOP.....THEN A SPLASH OF OLIVE OIL, HALF A JAR OF CAPERS, TEASPOON OF POWDERED GARLIC, SALT, PEPPER,......THAT WAS ABOUT THREE MINUTES..... THEN A TABLESPOON OF CURRY IN A CUP WITH A TABLESPOON OF OLIVE OIL......AND MICROWAVED FOR ONE MIN.. THEN ADD THAT TO THE MIXTURE.....i THEN ADDED ABOUT A CUP OF WATER...TO COVER..AND PUT IT IN THE OVEN AT 350 FOR AN HOUR... i STOPPED IN A FEW TIMES AND STIRRED IT.... ABOUT 45 MIN INTO THE COOKING,I CORRECTED THE SPICES.....THE PREPARATIONS WAS ABOUT 5 MIN... SERVE OVER BROWN OR WHITE RICE... DELICIOUS,HEALTHY,CHEAP AND EASY.

Gay Hallocaust, Lamb Pate, Musician"ZADE" & other things on my MIND
Tonight, as I write this, in a hell hole of Irac, in a war, that was not necessary, except for the lunacy of the CHENEY BUSH Nazi regime, gay men are being rounded up, as in Nazi GERMANY, tortured and murdered. The Shiite clergy have decided this is the proper thing to do,for they do not represent what ISLAM stands for.
In my NOT SO HUMBLE OPINION, Muslims stand for nothing...nothig good. They glorify them selves in hatred, ignorance, murder, suicide and revenge. The Words of the PROPHET Mohammed, either are the words of a mad man, or so perverted that they make no sense....They have no use for women, gays, prostitutes, and anything in life like a good education, and the civil rights of people. They feel they retain the right to kill wives and daughters if they disobey or embarass them.
I have no real love for any organized religion, but I do detest these people...the ones that are the most"relgious" are really the nmost crazy....and any fundalmentalist....regardless of which relgion are insane....
The Taliban execute women if they flirt, or show to much skin....and yet, Afganistani men have little boy friends that they have sex with...and that is ok....it has some acceptible name...and is not considered homosexual behavior...PARDON ME< but in our country there is also a name for it PEDIFilia.!!1
I would like to become invisible, and beable to follow these religious men around, as they attempt to kill gay men...I would put gasoline on their stinking beards and set them on fire... It would look like spontaneous combustion>>>>all these religous men, suddenly bursting into flames.... If any of you can....write to the UNITED NATIONS asking them to intervene. Hundreds of young men already have been murdered....I do not know if anything can be done....
This wouldnt be going on, if BUSH didnt start the war and have SADDAM HUSSEIN and his Republican Guards killed and disbanded... Saddam was a bastrard, but he was able to control all the stupid asshole Muslims.....If anyone reading this is a MUSLIM you have two choices, to agree with me, or try to justify....how then can kill young men, and women...for no reason at all....(of course they think they have a reason)///
And now...LAMB PATE" This is the first time that I attempted to make it...I had a leg of lam. Too the leftovers..and fat....and ground it thru one of those old fashion heavy iron grinders that grandma make chopped liver in...I added spices...garlic, salt ,pepper, tumeric.. but you can experiment and add anything you like....Fresh Tarragon, a hint of oregano... One recipe I read said ad about one half the amount of veal fat as lamb meat. Then I added one envelope of clear gelaton disolved in half water half red wine....plus I added smore spices to it...You also can use a boullion cube instead of water...and add to the mixture..
Make another cup of gelatin, add spices....and pour into a loaf pan and let set for a while in the refrigerator...when a bit set, you can add sliced carrots that have been cooked, olives, capers, parsley leaves...on top of the gelatin and then pack in the pate....let set for an hour or two before serving.... you can then remove the entire loaf, and if you wish, cut slices and place on a plate of individual servings...and pour more gelatin on it to cover and glaze it...YUM
Last night on PBS, they had a concert by a Jordanian 29 year old named ZADE. I can only compare his concert to Yanni, at the Accropolis......Zades whose music is similar...and he is a pianist that is accompanied by the LONDON Philharmoic and individual "stars" of the international music world.....His concert for PEACE was hellin in a 2000 year old ROMAN Amphitheater in Jordan....which gave the similar effect of YANNIS program. he is awesome. LOOK him up....go to his website and enjoy..

Digging around a burnt out home.....The MONA LIsas Sister
Today, the boys and I spent hours digging around the burnt out shell, of what was a luxurisous home in SADDLE RIVER.....The house was built in 1956, when Saddle River was considered the "toukis-arin", or ass hole no-where...very far from the city...approachable from the South, mostly by Route 17 North, which was one lane coming north, and one lane going South...
The area was farms....or forest. Not many people lived there....So a huge home back then in Saddle River was a rarity......The owner, whose name I will hold back, is still alive at 96....and is or was the owner of 600 rental properties in the RIdgewood Bergen County area, A drug store and a Restuarant...but so cheap, that she wouldnt spend the money to hire a gardener to take care of her property.
She was blessed with a drug addict daughter, who had one child at age 15...unmarried of course... and one son.. The daughter, they say is responsible for this fire...and since supposedly burning down this house, she has been in two more fires, buring over 70 percent of her body.
One of my customers bought this property, becuase it is situated directly across the street from their new gorgeous brick mansion......They are going to teat down this building, or should we say, what is left of it, and turn it into a 4 acre park..
We were there, trying to find some things that we could buy and make money on by reviving it....We did get a bunch of things...and now, Richy and the boys have to perfrom magic to make these items live again...Among them are chandeliers, set of 20C modern Chairs, Modern Danish flip to bar, Kindel Country Frenc Dresser, an Italian hand painted and hand gilded vanity....a few outrageously carved mirrors, a 20th C modern very strange desk, a small low boy, a modern table with inlaid stained glass top, and very funky lorge round mosaic tile table in a brass frame, most likely Italian origin, a few painted end tables and armoire (repros) prints, paintings,, glass, china, Asian Influence wall sconces, and much more....We already started washing and deoriderizing all of it....
Walking thru this burnt out shell of a house, with only a flash light and sunlight streaming in thru holes in the roof, where the blue tarp blew off.....makes me sad...The floor was carpeted, but filled with plaster, broken glass and pieces of this and that that was tossed around by the firement...and subsequent visitors...I tried to close my eyes, and visualize the sounds of laughter, music, holiday dinners....their xmas tree...sounds of people opening presents.......and in minutes,an entire lifetime went up in smoke. Luckily, the woman and her daughter survived......the one loss was their cat, who didnt come out when it was called...I am sure it was frightened.....So sad, but it could have been worse.
Anytime we get bargains,, there is always come kind of sadness involved.. Fire,death, divorce, moving, downsizing......or the need for cash....This is not a happy business..and it does take an emotional toll on me.

I am Tired, Corn on the Blob recepie,stupid news
For the past 4 days, i have been very tired...and dont know why. I have gotten nmore sleep than usual...the stress no more than usual,and my eyes hurt and burn.. Now this is boring to all of you, but this is my blog..and this is about me. There are other medical issues, but dont worry, this is not a hypochondriacal blog...or a medical website....
The news bores me..Some shocks me...Like the woman driving drunk and stones who died and took 8 others with her...most of them children,what was she thinking????And how about the 80 inches of rain that fell in CHINA during a Typhoon, 80 inches in one day..we kvetch and moan when we get one inch in a day...then an old lady, an Aushwitz survivior, who was homeless in NYC, left Hebrew Univeristy 100,000 dollars.....I wonder where she left her will, if she didnt have a home?
The Australians want to kill a lot fo wild roaming camels.....becuase they are eating up the grass that the sheep eat....I say plant more grass....and if they do, I am afraid we will see Camel on the BArbi...at OTBACK STEAK HOUSE. Camel meat is eaten in many mideastern countries...and probably as good as any other protein from cows,pigs,sheep, chicken..etc. But I wonder if Camel is kosher???
a Hot dog dealer....in front of the Museum in NYC had to pay 54,000 a month to park his weeny-mobil.......and he couldnt pay the rent.....He was evicted.....How in hell can they charge that kind of money....for rent...The wonderful city...of NYC

Quick poem,boring day....nice night
Its a full moon, but the crazies stayed away today.....Nothing much happened....no special customers to make me laugh, or get me angry, or drive me nuts...all the emplyees (who are also my dearest friends) were just operating on an even keel..We made some new displays....went on a few normal housecalls...there was very little business.....but the evening played out very nicely.
BArbara Comerford, the most gorgeous attorney and I went to EL CID, the Spanish restaurant that over feeds you. I wasnt even hungry, but I dont have to be hungry to go to eat there. The blue cheese dressing is orgasmic, their warm fresh bread and butter down right delicious, and with a glass of wine, the combination makes me think I am in Europe. I had babylambchops (only with a small side order of guilt) and Barabara had fabulous spicy shrimp...with a heavyh aftertaste of greenpepper and onions....delicious.
But the most delicious part of the dinner was the conversation. We two should have been married.. We get along so well, and can talk about anything and everything, and always see to agree; our philosophy seems to have eminated from the same group of thinkers...and we have come to the same conclusions on just about everything from Politics,law, medicine, religion, bringing up kids, school,animals, food et al.

Bill Clinton Shines again
Can you imagine being a young woman, arrested and sentenced to 12 years in a hard labor camp in Korea, a country that is still living in the past, maybe the 1050's, but who now has atomic capabilities and missles, and a mentally ill deader, who is supposed to be dying.............4 months into their incarceration....they car told they are being moved to their final labor camp...put into a room. They are frightened....when the door opens some time later, BILL CLINTON walks in!!!!!
Can you imagine the shock they must have had. Were they having a dream? Were they seeing an illusion>? a hologram? NO, it was reality.......
This might be one of the most memorable actions Bill ever took......He is still a viable force....More later tonight.

New Poem(not finished) Bill Clinton in Korea,New Soup
Dreams Can Come True
jesus Prince of light
Hitler, prince of darkness
SHARED in common
dreamING
to change the world
but motivations
moved in opposite directions
one ,affection for what was right and good
love for the misunderstood
eased suffering for the multitudes
brought joy for those within his reach
reachedING across oceans and continets
to spread love and understanding
building an empire IN the hearts of man
The other
affection for what was wrong and evil
loved nothing but the fantasy of power
causING inexplicable suffering
enjoyING the spread of hatred
bringing nightmares to those within his reach
reachING across oceans and continents
destroying countries and empires and the spirit of man
to spread his GLOOM
in the hearts of men.
The above poem is not finished, but I like shareing things, even if not complete, its sort of like when you were young, when your mother was baking a cake, she would let you taste the raw batter, before it was cooked and finalized into a finished product. So go ahead, I offer you the opportunity to lick the wooden spoon of my poetry.
So BILL CLINTO FLEW TO KOREA.... to dicuss getting those two American reporters, who were imprisoned for 12 years of hard labor......our of jail and back to America. He arrived this morning, and they were freed already. I bet he did it in his low key, Clintonian way. He Bent over his chair, and whispered into the ear of the tiny president of North Korea, "Let those girls go, or I will personally rip your fucking lungs out right now....." Or "Listen to little shit, if you dont let those girls go right away, we will bomb the living shit our of your country...before you can even think of sending missles anywhere.." or "Hey little shit, let'em go and you can have a piece of MONICA"
Regardless of what he told him....they are free. RIGHT ON BILL!!!!!!
HERE IS A NEW SOUP THAT REALLY DOESNT HAVE A NAME YET..MAYBE SPAGHETTI SQUASH SOUP?
cUT UP A SPAGHETTI SQUASH IN LITTLE PIECES, CUT UP A RED OR GREEN PEPPER, TWO STALKS OF CELERY, TWO POTATOES(LEAVE SKIN ON) HALF BUNCH OF WASHED KALE, ONE CAN OF KIDNEY BEANS, 4 TO 8 CLOVES OF GARLIC, HALF LEMON WITH A WHOLE BUNCH OF CLOVES STUCK INTO IT,ONE CAN OF DICED TOMATOES(OR TWO LARGE TOMATOES(FRESH) DICED, TOW LARGE ONIONS, FEW SPRIGS FRESH CILANTRO, SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE. YOU CAN USE WATER AND A VEGGETARIAN BULLION CUBE, OR CHICKEN STOCK) JUST THROW ALL OF IT INTO A POT...OR SLOW COOKER. cOOK ON A LOW HEAT FOR TWO HOURS....OR IN A SLOW COOKER OVER NIGHT..TO LET ALL THE FLAVORS MERGE.
YOU CAN LET THE SPAGHETTI SQUASH COOK IN LARGE PIECES TOO. WHEN IT COMES TO THESE KIND OF SOUPS, YOU CAN ADD ALMOST ANY KIND OF VEGGIES YOU HAVE AROUND...YAMS, OTHER LATIN AMERICAN TYPE ROOT VEGGIES, TURNIPS, OTHER GREENS,......i DID LEAVE OUT CARROTS...BECAUSE i HAD RUN OUT OF THEM.....AND OF COURSE, YOU CAN ADD A HAND FULL OF OKRA...THEY HELP THICKEN THE SOUP AS WELL. YOU JUST CANNOT MAKE A MISTAKE WHEN MAKING SOUPS.
