THIS SUMMER, I SPENT TWO WEEKS IN TURKEY.......STARTING OUT IN ISTANBUL.....I DROVE WITH FRIENDS from one end of turkey to the mediterraean sea....we traversed the Anatolian Mountains....We stopped in various towns, met the locals, and I made friends that are imbedded in my heart. The people are wonderful. They have nothing to do with politics...and their religious beliefs were not descriminating towards Christians and JEWS.....the people that I met were kind, loving, accepting, generous....The beauty of the country both visual and emotional....entered me, and became part of me, and this Quake was taken by me personally....as if, it was my home and the loss.. has shaken me up.
They are Moslems and I am JEWISH... No one over there cared at all about relgion when it comes to friendship. It is true, I didnt meet very religios people....some of them did keep dietary laws and ate HALAL meat and didnt eat pork..on the other hand, since it is a moslem country, they dont have pigs..so you cant buy it anyway..and I think that in TURKEY all butchers, since they are Moslem automatcially sell Halal meat..so it is no big deal...Dont thnk yo can buy anything but HALAL meat...which is almsot like KOSHER in the way the animal is slaughtered.....
I didnt hang out with any religous fundamentalists.....and I am sure they wouldtn have wanted to hang out with me, since I didnt adhere to their "mishagoss"(craziness) unless I would have been able to make them change some of their ideas....which I doubt...since fundamentalists are usually thoroughly brainwashed. It is very hard to change the mind of those who have been programmed in a belief system.....I am JEWISH, American.....but I do not think that I am brainwashed politically or religiously, because I really reject the way all religions thin k they are the only right one....which really means,,,they are all wrong.....All relgiions are preidicated on some person or persons, who perfromed some miracles, adn the story of their life...contains many messages of the way to live, what path to follow, and all the rules and regulation of diet,dress,morality, law, family matters, inlcuding marriage......and punishments on this plain, and the world to come......I called this the Gospel according to MISHA GOSS.
I reject it all. I reject all of it because rather than the peace and love it is supposed to adhere to...it really separates us all. It preaches that each religion is the best....and the only ture one...and if you do not belive in it..you are doomed to spend eternity in HELL, or in some horrible place, flaoting in a sea of shit up to your lower lips, eternally screamming...DONT MAKE WAVES>
So my nigtemares tonight, which have begun while I am still away, will be trying to escape from being buried in rubble or me trying to dig freinds out of the rubble....and watching people who are injured and bleeding and screaming for help...and although, I spent time in the South, where the earthwake didnt hit(yet)ot os a COUNTY that I know and can relate to. I related to ROMANIA, during their devastating Earthquake in the 1980s..I had been there a few years before....and saw Bucharest before it was leveled.....and I saw it again this summer, all rebuilt....and healthy again.
I never had been to Japan, and could only related to the JAPANESE people thru the TELEVISION, but if you read my blog....you will notice, I saw the tsunami and earthqualke in a dream a night or two before...It is right in my blog...yes, I aaw it and predicted it...and it is dated.....
I alsways used to predict Earthquakes...but this one in TURKEY I missed, or just couldnt remember any dreams that I had....or, because I am on TORSIDEMIDE, I get up ever hour or so to pee, and didnt get into REM sleep...the condition needed to dream.
Enough seriousness.....I will take up the lunatics in the REPUBLICAN circus in my next Blog...I will try to tear HERMAN CAIN a new asshole and become the Republicans own proctologist...pointing out how crazy most of them are...The only sane one might be MIT ROMNEY....but I couldnt warm up to him even if we were creamted together.....so I will leave that for another night,but now, I want to give you a few tasty recipes.....and healthy ones at that.

AT SOME BUTTER OR I CANT BELIVE ITS BUTTER...OR ANY LOW FAT NO TRANS FAT PRODUCT....ADD GROUND PEPPER AND SALT, AND A HINT OF GARLIC....
PLACE A CUP OF THAT MIXTURE IN A SOUP BOWL....SMAER THE TOP WITH LOW FAT SOUR CREAM..SPRINKLE WITH FRESH GROUND NUTMEG. COVER THAT WITH FRESH OR FROZEN STEAMD SPINACH, THAT YOU HAVE BUTTERED,ALLTED AND PEPPERED. dILL WOULD BE A NICE ADDITION TOO., ADD A LITTLE SOUR CREAM ON TOP OF THE SPINACH. SPRINKLE WITH DRY PARMIGIANA CHEESE, AND THEN COVER THAT WITH SHREDDED CHEESE THAT IS USED FOR MEXICAN TACSO...IT COMES IN VARIOUS TYPES... CHEDDAR, MONTERAY JACK, SWISS, ETCETC
WHEN ASSEMBLED....PLACE IN MICROWAVE UNTIL CHEESE MELTS.... THIS IS VERY SIMPLE AND HEALTHY AND VERY DELICIOUS.
tO MAKE THIS DISH NON-VEGETARIAN, YOU CAN ADD ANY CHOPPED UP MEATS:HAM, PORK, CHICKEN, TURKEY, BEEF (POT ROAST LEFTOVERS) LAMB, BACON......iTS FILLING AND NOT TO HIGH CALORIC.
tO MAKE IT ALMOST FOR THE aTKINS DIET, DO NOT USE POTOATOES....YOU CAN STEAM CAULIFLOWER AND THAT YOU CAN PUT IN THE BLENDER AND MAKE IT INTO A MASHED POTATOE CONSISTENCY....THEN ADD SPINACH...AND OTHER ITEMS......OR YOU CAN USE ALL TURNIP OR HALF TURNIP AND CAULIFLOWER.....ITS ALL GOOD.

baCK AFTER A bLOGGING VACATION....SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON.
tHE GREAT DISAPPOINMNET OF NOT GETTING THE HOLLYWOOD REALITY SHOW GIG.....IS OVER. NO DEPRESSION....but it owuld have been nice to be on television.....for a season or two. They sent their crew to NJ for me to audition....they saw me on my website...as the MAURY LISA (my face in the MONA LISA), my head inside a hippo, and me dressed as a witch, a hooker, and me and mini me....(I am holding a baby, whose face was replaced with mine.
I had a video conference..they liked me....and when they came to NJ, they urged me to be "over the top" and then I was told I went to far. I was very silly, respectful and I would have been great...but, although the producers liked me, the NETWORK itself, thought I was not right....well, If they wanted a boring MAURY, who would emulate the horrors who are on the Antique ROAD SHOW..that is not my style....
I gave them what they said they wanted...
So I wont earn 10 to 50,000 dollars a week. OH WELL. NOW I AHVE A LOT OF OTHER THINGS TO DO. Kepp my store growing and selling....and paying attention to the CIrcus of next years elections. I think that they need a proctologist to lead the next REPUBLICAN debate for the entiure crew are a bunch of sick assholes.
I cant belive that we had BUSH as president.....his excuse is that his DADDY arranged his election, but what is the excuse for all these clowns that are running now...THEY ARE ALL MENTALLY ILL.... THIS BLACK PIZZAMAKER, WHO IS SO IMPRESSED WITH HIMSELF..... he IS A WELL SPOKEN MORON.
