Poetry on the news
and the newsmen didn't know
the beauty of their newscast
exploring sadness
of a young teens death
moments after a wining basket
brought a perfect record for his team
Jumps,screaming, cheering soon turned to silence
then horror,as the heroes 16 year old heart gave out
Ending his life in a blaze of glory
The Newscast interview made me cry
not only for the youth
but the beauty of the people
in his small home town
His coach was not ashamed to cry on the camera
A black team mate was broken up with tears waterfalling
down his cheeks...
A Jewish boy;s tears were equally as expressive
How progressive was this tiny town
No place for prejudice
A town where love was incubated
and hopefully others noticed
how things should be.
i HAVE MUCH TO SAY, BUT LITTLE ENERGY THIS WEEK. I WILL CONDENSE SOME OF THE THOUGHTS. I AM WONDERING IF ALL THE TROUBLE IN THE MIDEAST IS A CONSPIRACY...PERPERTRATED BY THE CIA..SO OUR MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX...WILL START MAKING MORE MONEY.. THE OIL OCMPANIES ARE ALREADY RAPING THE PUBLIC AND THEY WILL BE MAKING OUTSTANDING PROFITS.....WAIT TILL WE GET THEIR QUARTERLY REPORTS.....EVEN THOUGH THE POPLE ARE GETTING RID OF TYRANTS THAT WE HAVE GOT ALONG WITH FOR YEARS......OUR SO CALLED ALLIES...
I HERE BY CALL FOR A BOYCOTT OF MOBIL EXXON...EVERYONE SHOULD TRY TO CUT DOWN A LITTLE.....ON BUYNG GAS.
