THE DAY OF LOVE STARTED EARLY WHEN THE DENTIST REPLACED THE LOST CAP WITH MY PERMANENT NEW CAP...GOOD. tHE AIR WHEN IT HIT THE EXPOSED NERVE WAS SIMILAR TO GETTING AN ELECTRIC SHOCK ORALLY....
THE STORE WAS FILLED WITH CUSTOMERS.....ALL DAY......AND IF EACH PERSON SPENT A DOLLAR, WE MIGHT HAVE TAKEN IN MORE MONEY.....IN THE WORLDS OF WINSTON CHURCHILL....NEVER HAS SO MANY BOUGHT SO LITTLE AND BEEN SO ANNOYING. MOST OF THE PEOPLE DIDNT EVEN ASK ABOUT ANYTHING....I WONDERED WHY THEY WERE HERE? AND IN DROVES......I THINK THESE WERE ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WERE IN SEARCH OF LOVE ON VALENTINES DAY...WELL, I WOULD HAVE LOVED THEM IF THEY SPENT SOME MONEY.... It is nice to know we have a very popular museum>
I am not sure what was going on....NOTHING>..but maybe they all will surprise me and come back...and tellme they want to buy what they saw... I dont think I even had one laugh........
The highlight of the day was the food.....I dont remember if I mentioned a very simple dipping sauce for chicken or fish...or
tofu SHRIMP" Tofu shrimp is taking extra firm tufu and marinating it in sesame oil and garlic and soy sauce....overnight. slice into shrimp shapes...or strips and broil them on a GEORGE FORMAN GRILL... the consistancy is very shrimplike. The sauce.... MAYONAISE (hellmans is the best) garlic and some roasted sesame oil(buy the best!! in a Japanese grocer) make the garlic as strong as you like...and dip the tufu shrimps in this...its heaven on earth.....AND IT IS ALMOST CARB FREE.....IF YOU ARE ON ATKINS....
ANOTHER NICE INVENTION I MADE TODAY.... MOCHACHINO ALA ATKINS...... COFFEE..WITH ONE TABLESPOON OR A BIT LESS OF HERSHEYS NEW NO SUGAR SYRUP, ONE PKG OF SPLENDA, AND ONE TABLESPOON OF POWDERED COFFEE "WHITENER"(LOW CARB) AND A TABLESPOON OF FRESH WHIPPED CREAM. IT WILL BE BETWEN 3 TO 4 CARBS THE MOST....
AND TO MAKE AN ALMOST NO CARB SALALD DRESSING.....KENS STEAK HOUSE NOW HAS CEASER DRESSING THAT IS ONE CARB PER TABLESPOON....PUT THREE OR FOUR TABLESOONS IN A BOWL, ADD TWO TABLE SPOONS OF EGG WHITES(COMES NOW IN A CARTON) AND A FEW TABLESPOONS OF EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL (ONE 50 VIRGIN/50 LITE) SOME GARLIC,SOME BLACK PEPPER, AND A HIT OF CIDER VINEGAR....YOU ARE NOW STRETCHING THE KENS DRESSING...AND MAKING IT ALMOST FRESH...BUT THIS IS QUICKER....AND YOU WILL BE DOWN TO LESS THAN HALF A CARB PER TABLESPOON.......
ANOTEHR ALMOST CARBLESS SALAD DRESSING WITH A CEASER FLAVOR IS MADE BY ADDING CIDER VINEGAR TO MAYONAISSE....A BIT OF FRESH GARLIC, FRESH GROUND PEPPER, A HINT OF ANCHOVY PASTE, AND A TABLESPPON OF LIQUID EGG WHITE... YOU CAN EXPERIMENT WITH AMOUNTS OF EACH TO YOUR TASTE...
