tODAY WAS THE DAY WE WERE TO CLEAN OUT AN APARTMENT OF A WOMAN GOING INTO AN ASSISTED LVING HOME...I DO NOT LOOK FORWARD TO THE EMOTIONS TAHT GO ALONG WITH THIS....THE POOR WOMAN, WHEN WE WENT TO ASSES THE PLCCE, BROKE OUT INTO TEARS. THE REALITY OF THE EVENT WAS THIS.... We owuld be taking her thing that she treasured to be sold and she would be moving into her final home, although a very nice one...it was knowingly the last place before, she entered heaven...as, she a religous Catholic must think. It is sad! Life is sad. The universe is unjust. But there is nothing we can do about it....We are born and destined to grow old and die, if we are lucky.....and all we can hope, is that the trip will be somewhat of a good one, with some love, feeling of being needed, some creativity, helping others, seeing some of the planet, smelling the flowers, tasting the cusine of the world...doing charity.....and hopefully, ones health wil keep up and if you are lucky....you just might go to sleep one night...and not wake up. That is the most we can hope for. We all have our time..and then we have to make room for others, still unborn....and leave them a legacy, and a planet better than when we were here.
BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. THE PEOPLE.. her family that we negotiated the deal...(Mike is the banker so to speak) changed it. But I dint want to argue in front of the woman who was soon to leave for her new home. She was waiting for us, because part of the deal, was to move things from her apartment into her new studio apartment(ROOM) After she left, I discussed with the, things that were missing...that when sold would have addd up to hudnreds of dollars...they shrugged it off....saying look at what you are getting...my reply was I DID NOT WANT THOSE BEDROOM SETS...OR DIRTY SOFA, OR.......hE DIDNT GET IT. I WOULD RATHER HAVE A SET OF SILVER...SOME LLADROS, A SILVER BOWL, THAT A BEDROOM SET THAT WILL GO INTO THE DUMPSTER, AND A DIRTY CHAIR...ETC.....
THE LOADING OF THE TRUCK, INSTEAD OF TAKING HALF AN HOUR TWO TOOK HOURS,BECAUSE THEY KEPT ADDING AND ADDING THINGS.....AT THIS POINT, I WOULDNT RENEG....AND HURT THE OLD LADY...WE RAN OUT OF PAPER TO WRAP, SO WE WNET TO LUNCH....THEN MIKE WENT FOR PAPER....WHEN THE TRUCK CAME BACK, I TOOK THE BOYS FOR LUNCH AND MIKE KEPT WRAPING....THE ENTIRE PROCEDURE TOOK FROM TEN 15 TO 5PM.....A VERY LOONG DAY. THE BOYS BROKE THEIR TAILS SCHLEPPING....
WHEN WE GOT BACK TO THE STORE, A VERY PRETTY LADY AND HANDSOME MAN WITH LONG HAIR, WHO WERE IN MY MAHWAH STORE THE OTHER DAY WERE HERE....THEY SAID THEY WOULD VISIT. WE TLAKED AND JOKE, AND THEN WENT TO DINNER TOGETHER..ALL OF US...WELL, SHE WORE A LOW CUT BLOUSE....A VERY SEXY AND PRETTY LADY WHO SORT OF LOOKED LIKE A SEXIER SARAH PALIN.....WE STARTED REALLY GETTING VERY SILLY AND TALKING......WE THOUGHT MAYBE SHE WAS A MADAM, OR A DANCER..OR SOMETHING NAUGHTY OR EXOTIC.....WHEN I FINALLY ASKED...I WAS SHOCKED TO SHIT....SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTIATIVES....WHAT AN ABOUT FACE...HOLDY COW....SHE IS NAUGHTY AND SEXY AND WILD, BUT SHE IS A FISCAL CONSERVATIVE.....NOT A REPUBLICAN BUT A LIBERTARIAN...SHE ALSO WAS GOING TO RUN FOR GOV..OF HER STATE (NOT NJ) BUT DIDNT....AT THIS POINT UNTIL I KNOW HER BETTER....I WILL NOT DIVULGE HER NAME UNTIL I GET AN OK, TO WHAT I CAN SAY TO PROTECT HER...SHE IS A VERY WILD ONE, YOUNG AND GORGEOUS......SHE INVITED US TO HER PLACE....FOR A WEEKEND.....SHE LOVES TO MAKE PARTIES....i WIL FILL YOU IN LATER....
