I was wrong about MC CRYSTAL resigning...OH well....customer cursing me out..THe JUdge who over ruled OBAMA order to stop drilling.

So i am not the best poltical strategest...i thought that Obama woulnt accept MC CRYSTALs resignation, for the moral of the country and the soldiers...well, I was wrong...Yes, I am wrong sometimes....One of the reason,is that I really didnt read the article in ROLING STONE MAGAZINE where he put the president down..That is one reason ...I didnt think he said anything as bad as he really did.... ANd Obama, to keep self respect ...and the respect of others...did accept the resignation. TOO manypeople have been putting him down.. Tell me, what would MC CAIN and the anus from ALASKA have dont differenly for the past year?/ At least things didnt get worse......and did get a bit better.

A customer returned today to try again strike up a deal on some items....that she stormed out over,,two days ago. She offerened me at least 25% less than I wanted...and then, didnt even have that amount to pay me. SHe said I would have to keep the stuff until Sept..until she moved....(but then again, how do I know if she didnt have the money now, that she would have the money then after a move..I explained to her, not only am I not getting my price....nor all the money..but i wouldnt have the room to have to sell other things...The deal was all in her favor....none in mine!!! She came back again, but only to find out that I sold it to another person.....who already owned part of the set of furniture that she wanted. This person paid more, and will get it out before SEPT>>>.way before.
The woman started cursing me out...She siad YOU MUST HAVE CALLED THAT PERSON UP AFTER I LEFT......AND GAVE IT TO HER CHEAPER.. "i EXPLAINED, NUMBER ONE, SHE PAYED MORE...AND IT WILL BE OUT OF HERE......BOTH THINGS THAT SHE COULDNT DO.......
SHE THEN PROCEED TO CALL ME A "SHYSTER, A CROOK. AND ASKED ME HOW i SLEEP NIGHTS" BEING SO TERRIBLE OF A PERSON.
I ASKED HER "EXACTLY WHAT DID I DO WRONG? I SOLD MY MERCHANDISE....I GOT PAID WHAT I WANTED...AND WILL HAVE THE SPACE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY TO SELL NEW THINGS' THIS IS A BUSINESS.....HOW CAN YOU BE MAD THAT I DIDNT SELL IT TO YOU FOR A PRICE THAT WAS UNACCEPIBLE AND YOU DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE MONEY??????? SHE SCREAMED AND HOLLERED...HOW HORRIBLE IWAS..... and if I was that horrible, and a crook and a shyster..i wouldnt have been upset being called those names...but, i was very upset..to the point of shaking on the inside....and angry as well.

My dear Friend Barabara Comerford picked me up and we went to eat in a French Restaurant in Westwood....We met DIANNE from the WHite ELEPHANt and JOHn. and we went to this Bistro...small in size and high in prices....I cant remember the name...but it was some French Expression...... the menu was limited....but the food was really very good...The appetizer...was not a big deal, except it was 14.50...it was 2 small shrimp, and two small scallops over white beans in a flavorful sauce...but far from exceptional or orgasmic....
The main course was rack of lamb..in some kind of wine sauce that really was exceptional, the veggies were ok....and the apple tart could have been cooked more...the three courses were about 53,00... Not an exceptional good deal or food for the money, but passable....the others had salad and appetizers and said it was nice....

We got a small delivery today from CANADA...another pair of exceptional LIONS in stone, and a fabulous tray table all inlaid with ..a removeable tray on top of that...and a few other inlaid end tables.....love seat...etc.. Nice delivery..but in the 100 degree heat....it took a long time......the boys were already tired from a few deliveries today...but they are working hard...and we are trying to get the store in order.

Federal Judge...Martin FELDMAN (no relation to MArty Feldman who was a comedian with bulging googly eyes) has major conflict of interests...He said to go ahead and drill, desprite OBAMAS moratorium on drilling 33 more wells. The accident killed 11 people or more, and how many millions of animals,birds and fish....and ruined the fishing,shrimp and shelfish industry. Enough OIL.. Oil causes death....oil causes greed and war.....and all the horros associated with war.

I think OBama has big balls.....not the testicular kind, but the kidn that takes a certain amount of daring....and in Hebrew its called Hutzpah..Amid, all the screams that he is uncaring, ineffectual...and nothing he does is right(only by the Republicans who are stirring up shit...so that they might win back their controal at the next election).....Obama has done a few daring things. Tonight, he invited the young lady, who was the cause of her highschool prom being canceled...because she is a lesbian....who wanted to bring her girlfriend to the prom. The school, canceled the prom becuase the courts took her side. The mentality of the people in her town, is amazing...they would punish their own children (so to speak) rather than have to decent kids of the same sex attend a dance.. They would make privae parties..to circumvent the law.
Now what were these trailer trash people worried about??? DId they think that two girls dancing...(which girls do dance with each other anyway....they did when I was in school in the 1950-60s).....did they thing that their dancing would pervert the entire school..DId they think the girls would rip off their clothes and start an orgy>>>>and that all the couples would change their orientation>>>and the girls would go with the girls and the guys would go with the guys......and the entire school would turn gay? Then they would all go to college and the entiure collge would turn gay...and then, when they got our into the world...the entiure world would turn gay....no one would have any children...and the human race, like the SHAKER COMMUNITY) would just die off...just from two girls going to a prom?????

I was in Westchester tongiht making a deal on 400 pieces of costume JEwelry.....on the way home, I was suffering from dinner...i went to dinner with a freind and it was the worst Mexican food I ever had...and not inexpensive...Guacamole was ten dollars....never have i paid more the 8.....anywhere. Its was ok...but not as good as the HACIENDA in SUFFEREN NY.... The main couse was kaka....the refried beens look like baby poop and didnt taste much better. the "steak" was a slice of tasteless roast beef, very thin...and the empanada on top was tastless as was the sauce....but the price of the dish was 18.50....HORRIBLE.... the flan was oak..and the ice tea, was reminicent of ice water....no taste at all...the the service was as good as the food. The waiters...and there were a lot of them....couldnt remember to bring water, or tortillas, or tobasco sauce,....etc.....well, you know what they say in MEXICAO MANANA... well, my stomach still hurts as I write this....took some pepsid......Will never go back to this rip off place.......
I do know goo dMExican food..had lots of it in FEBRUARY when I went to VERA CRUZ......and although, there were real MEXICANS in this place....They do not know how to cook.!!!!

So,on my way home, while the heartburn was kicking in, the sky opened up....while I was on 287. It rained so hard...that I really couldnt see ahead of my. I wouldnt see the white line, so I could stay in one lane...it was like driving in thick fog...you couldnt see ahead....i slowed down, put my flashers on....as did other drivers...yet the 50ft trailer trucks just flew by at 60mph, as a plane on automatic pilot.....once I tried to stop under an underpass..but a truck came so close, i decided it might be safer to keep going, rather thatn stopa nd get smashed by a trailer.....It was a cloud burst..the worst I have ever been in...and now I understand how flash floods come about....Ironically, by the time i got back to HOHOKUS.....the sky was clear, and the moon was out....

Tomorrow, the big shit who is running the IRAQI WAr, will offer up his regisnation to the PRESIDENT, who he dissed.......but I predict...that Obama, will tell him off, then praise his efforts in the war, and ask him to stay, and continue...so we can either win, or get out safely. There was this dealer...very full of herself...and a nasty bitch...and I dont care if she reads this..Her name...I cant remember, but she has owned a store called MARYLIN from MONROE for many years....always moving.....
Her stock in trade is used clothing, depression glass and depression kitchenware... some deco furniture and vanities...and this and that...She had oepned in HOHOKUS briefly with a partner, but couldnt make it here..Not enough traffic to do volume..
Up until today, there was no malice or hard feelings. She came in like a bat out of hell, and asked if we had MAgazines..which we do... We sort of Speiclaize having a lot of old one,s dating back before evn WOrld War two....
We do sell of a lot of them.....One lady spent 300 about two weeks ago...(her husband is a writer for Curb Your Enthusiams) and SNL.....
So this Marylin(if that is her name) picks out a pile...asks the price. I said I have to check they are all different..depending on years and content...Now remember a new magazinetoday is 5 to 7.50.!!!!
She had some that were WOrld war 2 LIFE magazines in NEW condition...I get 20-25 each for those....others are ten, 15. some are 5 to 8.
Shw wanted all the good ones for 5.00.. Like WOODSTOCK, LANDING on the MOON< RObert Kennedy...etc... When I told her the prices she flipped....gave me a hard time. I did let her have 4 magazines for 5 each....Then she started yelling at me in front of customers..that my prices are insane....and other nasty things, and that I should get my act together...and give dealers special prices.
I refrained from answering her...... I wold have called her low class trailer trash to carry on in front of my customers..(who thought she was crazy)
I would have said, i do not need low class dealer to sell thing very cheap too...these type delaers never really could pay for qaulity.....and really I dont need them.....I do, sell to high class dealers and designers.....She told me she can find these all over for 5.00.... well, maybe one here and one there...but no one has a choice of hundreds like we do....
That is the last time that blond witch will be allowed in my store.....hopefully I will never have the pleasure of throwing her out.....WHo needs the aggravation.

Tomorrow, we are going to set up an experimental new store....sort of like a formular..to see if it is possible to create a chain. There are people who would like to open an antique and design shop and do not know how to start..so....we can create a store for them open it...and then help them learn how to buy......the store will be on two levels..top level 2200 feet..and a basement with about 4000 feet.....which we may or may not use...

My Bronx birthplace overrun with RATS(on TVnews) etc

a while back, on the news.....they annouced a BRONX APARTMENT HOUSE, wasnt being taken care of by its owner...and it was over run by rats.....The news was on, and I saw the building...and said it was the one that I was born in...then they said it was on Bainbridge Ave,. and that was where it was... Funny to see the building that is alomost a figment of my imagination...but, I had been back about 35 years ago....and now, it is home for a huge family of rats.

Before I start vetching about people stealing my ideas....I want to discuss the color of the water in Wayne NJ. Tonight I went home and turned on the water in the bathtub... When it was filled, it looked blue-ish green.. like the color of the Mediterranean on a cloudless day. Gorgeous..But it isnt usually that color. Nothing fell into the tub...It was the color of the blue toilet bowl clear that you hang in the bowl....TIDY BOWL. But nothing was around at all to cause this. I then filled up the water int he sink, and a blueish tint was there too. I wonder if its a miracle...or there is something wrong with the water. If my skin turns blue, or starts to peel off, or I turn into a were wolf or frog...we will know the truth. I will call the Wayne Water Department and see if they know...But you can never get any information out of city workers.....never.

KY Flavored jelly....and other sexual flavored items....I not only had the idea for this 45 years ago, but I actually produced them and tried to market them. I was the first to make flavored vaseline....back in 1964-65. My mother thought I had really lost my mind, when I took her Electric mix master down the basement, melted a huge industrila size can of petroleum jelly, and hydroginated it with a slow stream of hot water...sort of like making mayonaise out of petroleum products.....
When the mixture was stable, I added flavorings. and colorings....I made them in all fruit flavors, chocolate, vanilla, and one that was purple with glitter in it for the GAY crowd and called it NELLY JELLY..... Then I packaged it in plastic containers and even had professional labels printed with the flavor on it.....
I did sell hundreds of bottles, but one needs to sell tens of thousands of them to make a profit...and to make that many bottles, one needs a manufacturing plant, not a finished basement with an ELECTRIC MIXMASTER. I tried to get contract from stores, novelty companies....(this was before sex stores)...and everyone th0ought I was crazy except one of my friends who help me sell the products....
I wasnt very aggressive.....and everyone talked me out of trying to mae this go futher..The motto on the label said "In case you change your mind..it still tastes GOOD!" Other products that I concieved was a flavoed wash....to make your best parts smell and taste good" Years later a famous company did produce it....a flavored DUSH...and it was even advertized on TV... I was so ahead of my times...I could have been king of the FLAVORD PUBIC EMPIRE....oh well. My mother decided never to use her MIX MASTER AGAIN.....and my father bought her a new one.. My idea, if at a different time would have made me a multi millionaire...which wasnt meant to be.
I am very angry with the lady govenor of arizona...she is bringing Nazism to her state and to our country. People can be stopped on the street and asked for their papers.....just like in GERMANY before and during the war. AMerica is made of of foreigners..all our relatives come from somewhere else.... The Mexican people contribute so much...and they really get so little. Theya re fabulous kind harded, smiling,hard working people....and get treated so badly.
