THEN FOR A FEW YEARS WE HAD PEACE. THEN CAME VIET NAM. Then a cup of brown rice.....(brown has more flavor and more vitamens) there was some celery left over....a can of diced tomatoes......tablespoon of curry(after it was microwaved in oil for a minute) and two tablespoons of vinegar...and two little packs of splenda...then it was thickened later with flour...
This can be used as a basis for so many other soups. add tomatoe paste, okra, green or red pepper, carrots, regular onions, potaotes, sweet potaotes, any other root vegtable, parsely, cilantro, corn.....etcetcetc

Ok, I know not to end a sentence with a preposition....(to fall in love with) but so what....I am not getting graded here... Here is a sandwhich which upgrades the ordinary lettuce and tomatoe sandwhich into a gormet delight....and if you want, leave out the lettuce!!
I used Arnolds 12 grain bread. spread with mayo on each side. then add shredded Romaine lettuce, paper thin slice of onion. thin slices of tomatoe, half an avaocade that is very ripe, slice of roasted red pepper from a jar(blot with paper to dry) and three sliced Chipolete smoked peppers in sauce(slice and try to get the pieces equidistant.....sprinkle with garlic powder....
It is awesome. Now if you want to not be a vegetarian, you can add chicken, turkey roast beef, roast pork, ham, etc....Go ahead and add some brie,swiss cheese...or any other of your choice. You are in for a real treat. The chipolete pepper shouldnt be the spicey variety, for it will over power everythig else.
I just had too of these BAD BOYS and downed them with Orange Juice....great combo, healthy, delicious.....and very satisfying...... LAST NIGHT....SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 1 IN THE MORNING AND 6,,,,I had a dream that was extrememly vivid, and can still replay it in my head. i was in a mends room, having to pee....*inspired by the fact i take 2 water pills each nite...and do wake up usually every hour or two).....Well, I stepped up to the "plate: to accomplish my watering deed, when the ground beneath me started to shake....there were at least two other people in the dreams...(there were waring white shirts and dark pants..only saw their backs.....the room was very old fashiones..white tiles and fixtures and I remember seeing exposed pipes.
i actually felt the vibrations in the dream. i thought that something below wouuld explode and dangerous steam would come out..so i better run out. I then ran up two flights of stiars...old fashion stairs and walls...and reached the outside safely......I remember it seems that it actually took my energy to run up the stairs...as I do in my store...two flights of stairs.
Then I awoke from the stress of the dream although it probably only lasted a few second...it was stressful..and the dream actually shook and i felt it!!!!

The last Dream of this kind was different,. I even told JOHN and Glen were it would be. The dream was that Glen and I was doing an antique street Fair in downtown Sufferen NY..when the ground shook. I had the dream I think on a WED night.....we had an auction on FRI, and I sleptin the NEW MILFORD store. After the auction...I was too tired to drive back to WAYNE.. There was a bamboo sofa in the front of the store....its was warm weather..and I dint need a blanket.....I just about passed out...I sort of woke up to shaking and the tinkling of a crystal chandelier......i thought i was dreaming...but i wasnt...I really woke up when RUDY the cat, dug his nails into my chest....I got up, the building (an old boat house) was shaking, and the chandelier was playing a song with its crystals clinking and claning into each other..I new we were having an earthquake...as I predicted.. But this time in the USA..under my own building...usually when i predicted them, they were at least in CALIFRONIA, or across the globe.
I ran outside....it was almost dawn. John had freinds staying over....they wre from PERU, where earthquakes are as common as Friday nite bingo. Carlos said..outloud frm a balcony, "yep, we are having an earth quake... I called the police(I am not sure why..what in hell could they do..just wanted to see if other people felt something or there was some kind of other disaster.....the phone stayed busy for ten min..so that told me...yes, there had been an earthquake.
The Epicent was in NYACK NY......a few miles in a straight line....up rt 59 from Sufferen..So that time, I called the epicenter within a few miles..and in a straight line from there as well.
Then I stopped getting the dreams...(unless Mount Saint Helen was after that..I got both of them....in dreams...I felt the vibrations...and also saw smoke..and although I didnt know about Mount Saint HELENE, I woke p in the iddle of the night, and told those around...about the dream. I said its an earthquake with smoke, so that must make it a volcanoe....Went back to sleep, turned on the news later..and there it was!!!!
MY take on this is that, certain people;s brain and or body, works like a seismagraph. and the vibrations trigger the brain to crate a dream....with feelings..and its the feelings that need to be interpreted???? For years, business has not been good, and other strees just might have dulled the sensitivity needed to feel the vibrations, and create the dreams and remember them...Last week, by spirit was elevated...bsuienss is improving, and the future seems a bit brigher...so maybe i have got back into the condition to get back into the Earthquake detection business. POLISH SOUP..... WHEN I WAS IN POLAND ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO, I ATE IN A TINY TOWN ON THE ODER RIVER...CALL SUBIZTA. The menu was all in Polish, not even half German, and considering the Restaurant was nly a block from the bridge that crosses the Oder RIver int9 GERMANY....not is surprising.. well, I just point to the waitress, who wore a very crisp starched white and purple uniform......one of my choices was a fabulous thick soup..with a smokey flavor...I tried to recreate it and came pretty close..It was really delicious....TRY this:
Chop up a large potatoe, two carrots, half head of cabbage, one pound of kelibasa int small pieces, cup of chopped celery, two cups of kale leaved chopped, 4 cloves of garlic, teaspoon of sweet paprika, (nopw you can stop there, or continue adding veggies like a cup of cooked beans, a chopped up sweet potatoe, sting beans, tomatoes...etc) You can use water, beef or chicken broth. Add some black pepper and salt to taste, but not until it has cooked(simmered( for at least an hour.... You might like to add some cider vinegar....but not much. When all the veggies are done, thicken the soup with flour or corn starch to your desired thickeness. Add a little cream at the end. serve with thick home made pumpernickle or rye bread(if you can find it) This soup can be a meal in itself. It is increibly flavorfull.. You can add half the amount of sausage...if its not for a main course soup.....

The little girl who was shot in TUCSON, was spiritual enough at age 9, to donate her organs to others, should she die. SHE did die, and early in her life. But so far, another child;s life has been saved.
In Australia, a 13 year old boy...also, a hero...told rescuers to save his 9 year old brother fro the raging flood waters.....and he was washed away to his death.
Let us hope...let us pray their deaths might not have been in vain, and their heroism will bless the world in the future. THe brother who was saved, and the girl who recieved the organ transplant...just might grow up to give the world something special to change it. Or their children or future generations might produce a president, a scientist whose research might cure a disease, or create some special work of art...or philosphy.......or they might become a teacher, who inspires some or one of their students to become a contributer to society.

There is no leftist equivalent to the Minutemen and other radical and eliminationist-spewing anti-immigration groups, some of whom have been subcontracted to work the border by the US government.

There is no leftist equivalent to radical and eliminationist-spewing anti-choice groups, who openly target doctors and call for their assassinations—and had a success just last year in the murder of Dr. George Tiller—and whose leaders get featured in whitewashing profiles in the Washington Post.

Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

This is not an argument there is no hatred, no inappropriate and even violent rhetoric, among US leftists. There is.

This is evidence that, although violent rhetoric exists among US leftists, it is not remotely on the same scale, and, more importantly, not an institutionally endorsed tactic, as it is among US rightwingers.

This is a fact. It is not debatable.

And there is observably precious little integrity among conservatives in addressing this fact, in the wake of the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Palin takes the absolute cake for audaciously asserting that her rifle sight imagery was really "a surveyor's symbol," and not even having the decency to sheepishly acquiesce that, even if that were true (and not evident bullshit), it's understandable how a reasonable person could look at her "surveyor's symbol" alongside the word "target" and get the wrong, ahem, idea. No, it's all just a wall of total denial in the Palin camp, when she's not whining about being a victim herself of people who have the temerity to actually hold her accountable for her carelessly casual violent rhetoric. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. And then it's deny and play the martyr.

But it's not like Palin's ideological allies are covering themselves in glory, either. There's no call for accountability, no call for reflection, not among conservatives. Just the usual game of deflection and projection, as they desperately try to find a way to make this liberals' fault.

Bill Kristol took to the airwaves this morning to call criticism of Palin "a disgrace" and accuse liberals of "McCarthyism." Commentators on Fox News, meanwhile, blame President Obama for not changing the tone in Washington, like he promised. Which would be hilarious, were that redirection of blame not a key part of conservatives' strategy to dodge responsibility for the eliminationist rhetoric that certainly contributed to the tragic events of this weekend.

When, a few months ago, there was a spate of widely-publicized suicides of bullied teens, we had, briefly, a national conversation about the dangers of bullying. But in the wake of an ideologically-motivated assassination attempt of a sitting member of Congress, we aren't having a national conversation about the dangers of violent rhetoric—because the conversation about bullying children was started by adults, and there are seemingly no responsible grown-ups to be found among conservatives anymore.

Faced with the overwhelming evidence of the violent rhetoric absolutely permeating the discourse emanating from their side of the aisle, conservatives adopt the approach of a petulant child—deny, obfuscate, and lash out defensively.

And engage in the most breathtaking disingenuous hypocrisy: Conservatives, who vociferously argue against the language and legislation of social justice, on the basis that it all "normalizes" marginalized people and their lives and cultures (it does!), are suddenly nothing but blinking, wide-eyed naïveté when it comes to their own violent rhetoric.

They have a great grasp of cultural anthropology when they want to complain about progressive ideas, inclusion, diversity, and equality. But when it comes to being accountable for their own ideas, their anthropological prowess magically disappears.

Only progressives "infect" the culture, but conservative hate speech exists in a void.

That's what we're meant to believe, anyway. But we know it is not true. This culture, this habit, of eliminationist rhetoric is not happening in a vacuum. It's happening in a culture of widely-available guns (thanks to conservative policies), of underfunded and unavailable medical care, especially mental health care (thanks to conservative policies), of a widespread belief that government is the enemy of the people (thanks to conservative rhetoric), and of millions of increasingly desperate people (thanks to an economy totally fucked by conservative governance).

The shooting in Tucson was not an anomaly. It was an inevitability.

And as long as we continue to play this foolish game of "both sides are just as bad," and rely on trusty old ablism to dismiss Jared Lee Loughner as a crackpot—dutifully ignoring that people with mental illness are more likely to be victims of violence than perpetrators; carefully pretending that the existence of people with mental illness who are potentially dangerous somehow absolves us of responsibility for violent rhetoric, as opposed to serving to underline precisely why it's irresponsible—it will be inevitable again.

Let's get this straight: This shit doesn't happen in a void. It happens in a culture rife with violent political rhetoric, and it's time for conservatives to pull up their goddamn bootstraps and get to work doing the hard business of self-reflection.

This is one problem the invisible hand of the market can't fix for them—unless, perhaps, it's holding a mirror.

An increidble delicious and quick dinner....PEANUT SAUCE CHICKEN over pasta and peas!!
Most of my recipes are quck cooking using the microwave..because in the store we do not have a stove. Have a cooked chicken ready and cut into pieces, or microwave a chicken breast in a pottery bowl with a little peanut oil...cut into pieces...put a little soy sauce on the chicken and cook till white...

in another pottery bowl, boil water, then put in some angel hair pasta, add a few table spoons of frozen petit peas and cook about 4 minutes..When done...add the cooked chicen pieces....drain and set aside.. Add add a few tablespoon of peanut butter, table spoon of lite soy sauce, clove of garlick, or powdered garlic....add double the amount of water...than peanut butter....microwave peanut butter. garlic, soy sauce and water....for two min..stir...add more water to make it the consistency that you like.

Drain water from chicken, pea and pasta dish....pour over the peanut sauce...stir and eat....Incrediblly delicious. Totaly time about ten minutes. Chopped fresh scallions or chives on top makes it better.
OPTIONS" add some chopped waterchestnuts for a little crunch...and even ground up peanuts.... Instead of CHICKEN...you can use Shrimp,Beef,POrk,TURKEY...or even TOFU....TEN MINUTE GOURMET DINNER.... SERVE WITH SALAD...ADD BEAN SPROUTS TO MAKE IT MORE ASIAN.
