Full Moon, icicles on titties,Very Busy in the store...Cheesy Rueben

Last night Buddy woke me up a few times to go out side.....it was so cold, in the middle of the night, i swear there were icicles forming on my titties....(not really ,but sounds good and silly...you can create a mental image of it.....) There was a huge full moon, and all the warewolves were out in force. I hardly got more than 4 hours sleep. I actually woke up early at 8, and got dressed and got to the store ealrier than nights I get a full complement of sleep..
I figured the cold was going to keep custoemrs home, keeping nice and warm and cozy......I never figured, it might be the busiest day we ever had!!! People came pouring in.....the first custmer was a repeat customer who was here yesterday..she went home to measure...and reall did come back..and buy three items....of furniture..and i gave her incredible deals....she wanted things that I was able to reduce the price, make her happy iwth the price, and make room from us. She bought two armoires and an oak cupboard.... The made mee feel good to start the day, early and with sales...and it continued....and by 6, it was the biggest day we had in a very long time, with the exception of that very rare painting I sold early in the month.......Hopefull this month will be the biggest in a very long time, yet....still not like the good old days,.....when the auction was flourishing.....

Last week I gave the recipe for a very tasty and low calorie open sandwhich.... A lisce of good bread of your choice that is 100 calories...topped with a roast pimento, and one or two tablespoons of TOASTITOS cheese sauce with jalapenas...I put on slice of onion and tomatoe....today, I added another 5 calories...by adding a tablespoon or more of sauerkraut.......which makes it A Mexican Rueben Pimneto OPen Sandwhich...about 185 calories (with two tablespoons of cheese) 165 with one tablespoon cheese sauce....Delish.....really filling...and not that many calories.
I figure about 1500 a day. Breakfast Oatmeal....about 170 calories, a piece of fruit around 50,to 100, lunch 300 calorie (varies 200-300) Weight watchers or LEAN CUSIN fronzen meal.... A bowl of CABBAGE soup now and then...very few calories..and that leavea 5-900 calories for dinner and snaks..... It doenst feel like I am starving myself. Tonight I had an ice cream put out by WEIGHT WAtchers.....140 cal...and it was really the best....ever.

sO i BOUGHT THIS NEW SUPER BLENDER FORM A TV INFOMERCIAL.....MONTEL WILLIAMS IS HAWKING.....IT. YOU CAN THROW IN A BRICK AND IT WILL JUICE IT... IT IS REALLY VERY POWERFUL...IF YOU PUT IT ON SPEED 8 FOR 8 MINUTES, IT WILL TURN THE CONTENTS INTO A BOILING HOT SOUP.
So, my curiosity starting experimenting.... I threw in a pear, an apple, and a bunch of frozen srawberries. I got a mushy concoction....not a drink...much to thick...and not quite a sherbert....I added some SPLENDA and a drop of LEMON juice and froze it for awhile...and it was sherbert like. I have to figure out proportions...Not enough liquid in it now..too much pulp, but it made a good dessert, no name for it...MUSSHY FRUIT COMPOTE? Now if I added some juice or water, it would have been a nice drink. Tomorrow, I will make one with veggies...
But I did invent something.. I took all the ingredients that I use to make cabbage soup....a chunk of cabbage a tomatoe, less than half an onion(red) a pimento, garlic salt,hot sauce and vinegar....and in 8 minutes I got a steaming bowl of soup, that we might call cream of cabbage...but there is a raw kind of taste. I microvaed it later for ten min on low... Added some chopped pickle(kosher dill) onion, and tomatoe.. and it was very good....and different... Sort of a POLISH Gazpacho. NO olive oil since I am on a diet...but that would have impoved it.......and what is good about it, I bet the entiure bowl of soup didnt have 25 calories.

Today I went to the department of MOTOR Vehicles to renew my license....I dreaded going.....you have to have the proper ID...so many points. YOu have to show them you PAssport, you Birth Certificate, old drivers license, Something with your address on it, a phone bill, your old underwear, a urine and dna sample........who knows what HOMELAND SECURITY WANTS NOW?
Luckily, it wasnt that busy and I was out in less than a half hour. They had a cop....from the SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT there incase of trouble... He must be bored out of his mind. He sits in a little chair, doesnt talk to anaybody....the exMArine, NEO NAZI ,gym teacher type with a blond crew cut......the only thing he said in that half an hour, was to one guy....you cant use your cell phone in here. I bet he practices that line at home at night..so he doent forget it.
This week there has been almost no business. Today 150.00, plus a few people who only price things. but dont really want anything.. But we do have to be nice, never know when they might come back.....and spend .

JAN 27 Grannys Attic Offical Holiday!,POEMS

Jan 27 has been an official Grannys Attic Holiday for 18 years....it started when we found out that Both JOHN and RICH were born in this day...and it has been a long custom, to have some kind of recognition of their genesis.
Last night I was going shopping to buy cold cuts....for a little party...but my KEy and Clicker disappeared mysteriously from my desk...Juan took me in his car....and went to STOP AND SHOP.....John is a Veggietarian, and RICH is an ARMENIAN, both ending in "ian" That is why I didnt cook.... Not to bore you with names of cheese and coldcuts, I will mention that I bought incredibly delicious Sesame noodle salad (with carrots and scallions etc) some kind of broccoli salad raisons and nuts, Edamame bean salad..and Egg Potatoe salad...all really good...but we went around the corner to KINGS to buy them a Special Brownie fudge choclate cake.....I asked for strawberry shortcake, and the idiot behind the counter says THEY ARE OUT OF SEASON...and will be back in the SPRING....sTRAWBERRY SHORT CAKES ARE NEVER EVER OUT OF SEASON...JUST ASK ANY ESKIMO.
There was one hot dish, that I supervised but the boys cooked it...very simple and very awesome.. Cook and drain a pound of angel hair pasta. return to the pot. add a sprinkle of virgin oilive oil, garlic powder, can of drained diced tomatoes, cup or more of ricotta cheese, half and half, 1/4 cup thin slice scallions or chives, fresh ground pepper and salt... stirr to creamy consistency...OMG so simple and so delicious..

Tonight I wrote to BIll Clinton to see if he can give me the information for me to send the clothing to HAITI....Lets see if I get an answer....

I humbly think that whipping oneself...is not normaly behavior.....it doesnt make one a better person.....in the eyes of your GOD or your people. (FUCKING OUCH!!!!!!!!) Drinking wine and eating little pieces of bread like substance turns into blood and flesh......and people really belive that.. Leaving wine out on PASSOVER for Elijah....as all families are supposed to do....now multiply that one glass, times the total JEWISH populatiion, is int any wonder that this spirit of ELIJAH, is rumored to be an alcoholic????? Most religous practices are down right scary, or rediculous..
Fasting....now that will make you a better person....and it seems all religons are big on self sacrifice... dont eat this or that, or dont eat or drink this on that day, or you have to clean the entirue house looking for the most minute molecule of bread....and you cant use the same set of pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc on PASSOVER....I could go on and list all the nonsense from all groups...but enough already.....

Not sure if the photos will show up, but here is the latest alternative on my fish diet with approx calories.... 3 ounces of flounder,(90 calories) a squeeze of lime, then powdered "fake" butter, that you find in the POPCORN area of the supermarket(3 calories) i slice of onion(5 calories) 1/4 cup roasted pimento (20calories) grated or powdered garlic (0 ) calories) two thin slices of tomatoes, (3 to 5 calories) a spinkly of parsely (almost zero) tablespoon of Tostitos Jalapena Cheese Sauce (20 calories)( capers optional-almost zero calories)
Microwave for 1.5min with nothing on the fish, another minute with onion on it, then put on cheese and then tomatoes on top or tomatoes then the cheese and NUKE it for another minute and half....and thats it!!! total calories... under or around 150...for a gormet meal. Servie with salad, low calorie dressing...and low calorie veggie like, stewed cabbage, broccoli or cauliflower....with fake butter powder. A great drink is diet Cranberry Pomegranate drink..only 5 calories.. Serve on ice....

ABOUT TEN O:CLOCK, THE RAIN WAS COMING DOWN SIDEWAYS. tHE WIND WAS HOWLING JUST LIKE IN A CHEAP HORROR MOVIE. THE CORRIGATED METAL ELECTRIC GARAGE DOORS WERE MAKING ALL KINDS OF NOISES AS THE WIND MADE THEM MOVE IN A MUSICAL RHYTHM. I COULD HEAR WATER DRIPPING FROM THE CEILING, BUT I COULDNT FIND WHERE IT WAS COMING IN. THE DRIVEWAY OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR LOOKED MORE LIKE A RIVER.
I FIGURED WE WOULDNT EVEN GET ONE CUSTOMER....ALL DAY, SO MAYBE, I SHOULD CALL OFF THE DAY...EVERYONE SHOULD GO HOME. WHY WASTE HEAT AND LIGHT?
BUT TO MY SURPRISE, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS RAINING AND THE WIND GUST HIT 60MPH, WE HAD A LOT OF PEOPLE....THE CRAZIES CAME OUT....MISHSHUGENA MONDAY? WE EVEN MADE TWO SALES....AND EVEN GLEN IN MAHWAH DID 200. YOU NEVER KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE YOUNG COUPLE CAME IN, ...THEY WERE FRIENDLY.....THEY ASKED THE BEST PRICE ON A VERY NICE DRESSER THAT WAS PRICES 375, i SAID THEY COULD HAVE IT FOR 300....THEY OFFERED ME 100. I SUPPOSED THAT IS ALL THE MONEY THEY HAD, AND I WASNT ANGRY...BUT TOLD THEM I WOULD GIVE THEM 100 FOR SIMILAR DRESSERS IF THEY OCULD BRING THEM IN FOR ME...THEN THE GIRL GOT A BIT BITCHY AND SAID," I CANT JUSTIFY SPENDING 300 DOLLARS FOR MASS PRODUCED FURNITURE" I DIDNT ARGUE WITH HER, BUT i EXPLAINED IT COSTS 100 TO TO GO OUT AND PICK ONE OF THEM UP.....

Everyone now is donating money, the televiosn and radio and internet is blasting continuously the disaster in HAiti, as it should. But eventually, there will be other events that will replace the headlines of today. People will slowly forget the plight of the people, when they will need us the most.
The first wave of charity, will move people into safer conditions... They will feed them and offer medical care. MOvemens will be made into building and rebuilding schools and hositals...roads, airports and other public needs.
I am looking into the future. Millions are out of work and will remain out of work . They will have barely enough money for food. Clothing will be hard to get and hard to afford. SO, I have this idea, which I am putting into motion RIGHT NOW. I want everyone reading this block to start collecting all kinds of clothing (only summer clothing) shoes, belts, socks, sandles, underwear,....Please have them clean...I will store them in my wearhouse on shelves until I can get a 20 foot container collected... In the mean time whiel colelcting, I will be contacting containing and shipping companies to donate their dervices in delivering the container to a worthwile chairity. I will directly contact BILL CLINTON and GEORGE BUSH (OMG me and GEORGE BUSH, my favortie person to hate, since NIXON) They will point me in the right direction...so the people will get the clothing, and not fall intot he hands of criminals who would sell them. I do not know if the Red Cross is the right organization...
I also will ask all of you who will dontate...to mark the size of the donation...so we can pack them according to size, and gender.
I will also ask you to ask everyone you know...for something..Doesnt have to be giant donations....anything nice and in good condition will be great.

TODAY, WE STARTED WITH JERRY (WHO WE AFFECTIONALELY CALL "OPRAH" DELIVERED SOME THINGS FROM ELLIOT....OUR GOD FATHER......TWO OF WHAT HE BROUGHT WERE DAMAGED BEYOND BELIFE AND I REFUSED DELIVERY......A MIMI ARGUEMENT ENSUED..BUT WAS SOON CALMED....JOHN WAS OUT ON A HOUSE CALL, MILE WAS ON ANOTHER HOUSE CALL, AND CUSTOMERS WERE COMING IN....FIRST ONE BOUGHT A BUNCH OF TOBY MUGS....AND FOR LUCK TO START THE DAY, I GAVE IT TO HER ABOUT HALF PRICE......SHE ACCEPTED..AND WITH IN SECONDS, AS IF RICH KNEW I JUST TOOK IN 200, HE SOLD ME A MIRROR FOR $100 AND A TABLE FOR $100... easy come....easy go......Mike came back and negotiated a deal...of trading a good painting for a piece of jewelry and 5 lladros.....didnt make any cash on the deal, but we have 5 porcelain statues supposedly worth a bunch.
John came back kvetching about the mold i the basement of the house he went to.....a house full of furniture, from the same era that my parents furniture came from...and the same store. CANES in Passaic.... a fancy schmancy store, on Monroe Street Passaic.....a street that i wouldnt want to walk on in daylight now.....and no more fancy smaller stores exist anymore.....
We then started the birthday noshfest.. A woman came in during eating my tuna-mole sandwhich, and i helped her open a box of glasses and a vase..which we made a deal.....I also went out with a woman, to her car to look at other things.....that turned out to be nothing I would even allow her to throw in our dumpster....but I do try not to be nasty, or too denegrading.....I just say, that" at this time ( and not for the next 3000 years) can I use these....They must be very sentimental.....so I suggest that you keep them a bit longer, or donate them to chairty (if you can find one desperate enough).....But sometimes, when I am tyring to be very kind, they get hostile that I dont want it and come up with more questions like "why dont you want them?" or "well I happen to know that they are valuable...or my friend told me they are worth a lot and "she knows" I love so many have friends who"know".....they have their PHD in antiques....sometimes...people do bring i thigs to sell and want more than we can get.....like the lady who wanted me to pay her 50dollars each for used Waterford CRYSTAL wine glasses.....which one can buy new in the box at their closeout store.
THen Miss KITTY from England came in....Miss Kitty is a very attractive English woman who buys antique chairs and reovers them in wild fabrics....I sold her a pair of chairs.....for 200 that I paid 200.....but only offered 125, but the person who ran the estate sale made me pay 200......and that is another story for another day.
I just wanted to take in money....and these were ugly fabric covered....no one wanted them. and a bird in the hand is better than in Barbaras BUSH

Just called ELLIOT.. His brother Bobby, who is much like RAINMAN, but does have a drivers license..and can hold down a job, driving for Elliot.....underwent the knife tonight....for an obstruction; he had colon cancer about a year ago...and this sounds bad..that a new mass developed.....it doent sound good...but all we can do is pray for the best (pray is a generic word) Bobby is a poor soul...never hurt anyone in his life. a kind gentle soul...not too bright....went thru life..with no real worries, no real happiness.....and his perception of the world.....is most different than any of ours.. He didnt have to worry about money, politics, who was president....ELliot took care of him always......

Incomprensible sorrow:Haiti

How can I begin to kvetch about personal problems, when over 200,000 people died this week in Haiti, and as I type, people are buried and dying below tons of rubble, and others, are starving and dying of thirst, in the Caribbean unmeriful sun...and 1.5 million people are homeless, jobless..... An entire country has been destroyed.
Darwins survival of the fitess thory goes into action, as the strong, over powers the weak...to get sustenance. How many injured people will suffer and ultimately die, because there are no hospitals left, not enough DRS helping....not enough medicine....not enough shelter...
The death toll will be larger than the SUNAMI, but it was quick....and those who died, about 1.5 million died within minutes or less....That was a cruel twist of nature, as was the Earthquake, but less cruel. The Earthquake is so much more cruel, and slow to kill its victims.

Its so horrible, its hard to imagine...how, the country can possibly rebuild. But rebuild it will. Bill Clinton and BUSH, now have the opportunity to do more mitzvahs (good deeds) to raise money and support, to make Haiti rise from the rubble and become a country again. New schools, new hospitals, new roads, new homes....rebuilt with code and strenght. I predict, better farming methods will be taught, and land will be made more productive for farming; larger corporations will be invited to open factories...with great tax incentives, and provide low paying jobs. but at least they willhave jobs. Those who survive will eventualy have a higher standard of living than they had...but it will take a long time. The slums will be leveled....better public housing built, better schools,.......but we must look into the future.....I doubt if I will be around to see this...but my predictions will live on.

While the majority of Americans are attempting to overcome the helplessness they feel beyond writing checks to the beleagured and devastated victims of the Haiti Earthquake the ever divisive, destructive and ignorant Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh insist on delivering a huge dose of salt to the wounds of the people of Haiti. Robertson's "deal with the devil" remark was right up there with the statements he made about AIDS as God's vengeance to Gay men. While ignoring that 80% of the population of Haiti is Roman Catholic, followed by Protestants (a close second) his remarks are not merely wrong, they could well have the effect of preventing people from donating much needed funds to the people of Haiti and those volunteers trying desperately to help them. And Limbaugh's remarks asserting that U.S.income tax was sufficient donation to the people of Haiti serves to further divide citizens of this country and politicize a tragedy. Enough! Even crass media types need to know when to show some respect to the community of man in the face of an unprecedented tragedy. They should keep in mind that someday when they meet their Maker they will face an audience of One who will not be interested in ratings. Let us all say ENOUGH to hate mongering and division at this time, and stand together with our brothers and sisters in Haiti, no matter our color, race, religion, creed or political persuasion.

YESTERDAY, WITHOUT WARNING, BUT PHONE, EMAIL OR SNAIL MAIL, THE DOOR OPENS AND MY OLD FRIEND ALBERT STOOD THERE....VERY MUCH ALIVE... HE HAS MOVED TO VENEZUEL TO BE WITH HIS FAMILY.....AS IT BECASME TO EXPENSIVE TO LIVE IN THE USA. HE CALLED ME ONCE TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS ALIVE AND WELL, AFTER TRYING TO CONTACT HIM FOR MANY MONTHS....
ANOTHER FRIEND OF MINE AND I THOUGHT HE MIGHT HAVE MOVED OR DIED. WE COULDNT FIND ANY TRACE OF HIM... but lo and behold, he was standing there looking very healthy...and the first thing we did was burst in laughter...Albert suffers from the most infectious laugh on the plant..SO infectious, that he had this giant maneating parrot (MCAW) that was able to laugh exactly like him, and you couldnt discern, was is Albert, Memorex or the vicious parrot. ALbert would laugh when the parrot got hysterical for no apparent reason,,,,,then anyone in the room caught the laugh...and the room soon seemed like the audience of a catskill resort after a Henny Youngman show, or an insane asylum.
Even after the parrot flew away one day, the laughter didnt stop ALbert woudl laugh and we wouuld laugh...it was great....Those were the days....happy, funny, laughing,,,,and we were verynaughty.....Our parties when we were in our 20's were always rated X or XXX. After dinner we went out to eat and talked about the good old days....Albert is bored in Venzuela, and he says its very dangerous too...and fears for his life...SO he want to return....and live here He is a US citizen, and is hoping he can find senior housing somehow. He looks very young.....but isnt....

Sadness,Religion, RUSH,Pat RObinson,other ramblings

I am sitting up late...two nights in a row. The televison reports non stop of the unreal horror in Haiti. The death toll of the Sunami was greater than the death toll will be in Haiti....the difference though, is the speed of death! As I write, and from the time of the first shock waves, people.....human beings.....were buried alive. The ones who died instantly, were the lucky ones. I say lucky because there are tens of thousands who are buried, crushed, bleeding, suffering from broken bodies, hunger adn thirst, whose life forces and hope are slowly draining....death for many will come slowly, unbearly painfully, and in the dark.
An enitre city was leveled. These is no food,water and electricty. There are few roads open. Only one runway is open at the airport, which can not handle the air traffic coming in with emergency supplies...

Knowing all of this, Pat RObertson had the nerve, the unmitigated gaul...to say that the HAITIAN PEOPLE deserved this...because they made a pact with the devil 150 years ago. First of all there is no DEVIL, and if there was people like Pat RObertson would be his apprentice, as would George Bush, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and such other hypcrites like Glen Beck et al. Yes, Pat Robertson basically said these poor people of Haiti, deserved this.....
and that fat piece of shit RUSH, said that OBAMA should have rushed(pardon the pun) to give aid to the country....someone should tellthat fat drug addict,Viagra munching BAstard..that help needs to be IMMMEDIATE..which never is fast enough...people buried under tons of rubble, cannot last long....RUSH, should apologize and evaporate....No one should ever listen to him, and boycott his sponsers.....If anyone knows his sponsers email me at buddylubman@aol.com so I can post his sponsers and know what to boycott.. I would turn on my radio...so he might get credit for ratings...........eff him.

So I sit her, like a big sissy, listening to the news, watching the devastation,seeing the human suffering...listening to the screams and crying....and I feel helpless..as If I was a GOD, who lost his powers...helpless, that I cannot reverse the horror, levitate the rubble and release the helpless prisonors....heal the injured, feed the hungry, quench the thirst.....wave my hand and rebuild the buildings and roads....But the tears that fall down my cheeks,are mixed with the delusions....that my fantasies would be to be more than human....but then, when I come to my senses, and realize I am only human.....and helpless.

Haiti was almost leveled,I am sitting here in tears.....

I am sitting here alone, late at night, the news is on showing the devastation, of the poorest nation in our HEMISPHERE. Our wonderful government, has supported all the crooked leaders forever.....we wnet them billions of the years, and the people themselves never got the money.....but stolen by their leaders.
Now the country lay in ruin. Hundreds of thousands are dead, and countless numbers of missing, buried under debris...no water, not food,no medicine, hospitals, schools and homes demolished. I cant help but feel their hoplessnes....it sit her, with tears in my eyes....wondering. how anyone can be religous and belive in a GOD that would allow such horror. So what are the people in NYC and around the world doing?? They are praying..if there was a GOD to pray do, this wouldnt have happened.

Today I had a customer who came to buy the most expensive single item I have ever sold. I decided to sacrifice something of great value, to catch up on back taxes, etc.....The man, came in with a certified check...a very handsome sum. John didnt come to work today, and I had asked JOhn to hid the painting...I didnt want anyone else to even know where it was. Just John and ME... But, John forgot to tell me where he hid it..He had it in one hiding place, but forgot to tell me he moved it...so I was going crazy, looking for it...after 30 min, I started thinking it was stolen.....and the paranoia was great...but I also know John, he is efficent in hiding things....and it should be there...Then the "boys" started searching...and finally found it. But not before I started get heart palpatations....and although, my pressure didnt go up.(it was normal tonight)....
Sarah Palin signed up with FOX NEWS...... that they could possibly have that moron on television....she is no articulate, has no knowledge of history, geography, the arts,.....She would have to read her lines written by others....sort of ROnald Regan like, although she is less articulate and intelligent that old RONNIE....or even GEOGE BUSH....another moron.....who was put at the helm of this great nation....God forbid that any decision making was actually done by them. I went to the DR...who said my blood pressure is low....becuase the new medication is working so much better than the old one that I have been on for 20 years....the only problem, I have developed a cough..and realized, that it isnt from a cold, flue, or allergy...but its a reaction to the new meds.. I check on the computer for side effect...and yep, one of them for this medication is a cough, and other respiration problems. But, I wil go with it to see if it might go away. Or cut the dose....it is working really well, I hadnt cut out the other meds....and...that is why I felt tired and weak..and almost past out FRIDAY......I cut back on two other pills and I feel pretty good. I am wondering if the othe pills were making me feel tired and foggy....I felt somehow more alert today, that I havent felt in a long time..

Today, I dieted. NOt actually counting calories, but I had a few bowls of the famous cabbage soup, very delicious and almost devoid of calories.... I had one diet yourgut, one apple, a little tuna on an english muffin, and a diet frozen dinner. I think its less than 1000 calories... ANd drank water......and I didnt feel bloated after eating.....DR wwants me to loose 45 pounds....OY

Gourmet Dog food-Pheasant, Dangerous AD C 1954, WHY BLOG?

I was just thinking, that some of you might wonder why I blog, and why and how I choose my subject matter. Well, part of my personality can be analyzed as a hightened sense of sharing.. Wheter it be going to a movie (never alone) cooking and having people to share (victims???) my concoctions, sharing and discussing the daily news, some TV PROGRAMS, a new song...or even sharing my favorite old music.....Sharing the names of fabulous restaurants, a book, or just about anything that I see that I think is interesting.........important, comical, or worthy of sharing with others....

Last night I went shopping....and although I dont feed my BUDDY dog food, I still had to browse the dog food aisle..why? WHo knows. I was shocked to come upon this one brand that I had not seen before.. HOLISTIC brand....Pheasant and Sweet Potatoe DInner... I had to buy it...not because I thought that BUDDY would like,it, or it woul dbe good for him, I was just curious if the brand came out..so idiots like me, would buy it...because it looks so Gourmet and made for HUMANS not dogs.
I figured it would be mostly sweet potaote or filler....you can imagine my shock when on the can the main ingrediant was pheasant....pheasant broth, sweet potoatoe then chiecken liver. and then brown rice...... Which means there is more pheasant in there than anything else.....if it really means that the first ingrediant is the most plentyful.
First before opening it, I photogrpahed it.....when opened I tasted it,...It didnt taste bad at all. I have eaten game birds and sweet potatoes...but it tasted like neither.. It would have almost tasted good, but the bird bones were a bit to large...the pieces are not for human consumption..and I am not sure if its good for dogs either..

Here is a very dangerous ad...from a 1954 MAGAZINE..that Tried to make it sound that smoking is a wonderful habit...and that Chesterfields us 21 great tobaccos (how in hell can any carcinagen be "great" how glamourous that make it sound...." vintage tobaccos grown mild(how do you grow MILD tobaccos)? aged mild...how do they age them mild..(these are just words without meaning) blened mild(again meaningless words) and made to taste even milder through longer lenght) all meaningingless bullshit...pure bullshit that makes no sense.....

THE BEATLES, THOSE STILL ALIVE, WERE ALSO TEENS...AND NOW THEY ARE OLD AND WRINKLES AND STILL SINGING...AND WRITING......THEY TOO GOT OLDER.....AS THEY CHANGED MUSIC FOR THE ENTIURE WORLD

MY DEAR FRIEND BARBARA TOLD ME HER LANDLORD IS 6'8. MEAN, AND UNSTABLE. HE STARTED HARASSING HER, OCMING INTO HER OFFICES, SCARING HER HELP, MAKING THE LADIES CRY, PULLING OUR WIRES TO THE PHONE...THE POLICE IN HER TOWN WOULDNT DO ANYTHING, UNTIL SOMETHING "ILLEGAL" HAPPENED. i DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY WOULDNT PUT ON AN OPIRDER OF PROTECTION....MAYBE BECUASE THE LANDLORD IS A RICH PROPERTY OWNER IN THAT TOWN?
Barbara decided to move a while back, but the landloard didnt want to accept loosing his client......so he tried to harass her to get payment of a lease..that was signed, not to him, but subleased to another company, who previously rented there..and went bankrupt. SHe had paid them in advance, and will not pay double the rent...She was afraid this maniac would break in and damge her antiques, and oil paintings, or maybe steal a bunch of stuff...so....we moved her out of there tonight.....and brought a full truck load to her new office.....and now she can rest tonight.... I wasnt able to do very much. Maybe it was the new medication for blood pressure I started today...or there is something getting worse inside.....I barely was able to climb one flight of stairs today at a house call....and then, I started laughing so hard at photos of me photoshopped...by RICH.....I laughed and somehow I got so dizzy I actually collapsed from being dizzy....I thought that I was going to o pass out..but I didint.. Last night, after getting two promises for PSEG to turn on the heat....by midnight, I huddled with Buddy by the electric heater... I had called 2o times during the day....and continued calling when no one showed up to turn on the heat....by 8 this morning, no one showed up. I hardly slept...I called at 8....the night before, I was told the crew stated work at 7.....at 8 the storey changed again...that they start at 8 not 7, but there was no time they were to come....on day 3. I called again and they said a supervisor would return the call.... AN hour an half later. NO CALL BACK. I called again, and said if I cant talk to an upper person in authority, I would ocme down and tear the place apart...although, I wouldnt know where they were...they could have been on the MOON, or INDIA, or Trenton...who knew. SHe said I made terroist threats and it was recorded....and I said I didnt care. I held on and another man got on,....I appealed to his better judgement. I said " I NEED YOUR HELP!! I am freezing for three days. Told them they shut off the heat three days ago, not for owing money. but their computer screw up and they kept breaking promises...... Well by 11 the heat was put back on.
Last night, another supervisor told my sister they would be here by midnight...at 1:30 after not showing up....she called back and compalined again...and the woman said that they wre here and no one was there...which is a complete lie...and she told the woman she is full of shit. END OF STORY.. We did start an investigation by the BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES.....

Gay MArriage bill was defeated in Trenton today.... about 2 to 1. Most people do not understand the reasoning. People are born. The majority of people are born to get turned on by the opposite sex.....maybe 20% same sex.....and there is a certain percentage...that get turned on by both......,but are afraid to wander into a same sex relationship. THese people get married,have children and even become REPUBLICANS. They are so afraid of their inner feelings, they are very vocal of being anti same sex relationships. It scares them. It makes them feel that others will see thru their veil of secrecy. These are the ones who get caught in airport mens rooms, or never ever even had a same sex relationship, and are frustrated their entire life.
Then ad to this list of people, the religous groups...like the HASSDICs, who rant and rave, treat women like crap, and are so very anti gay anything....even though their "arranged marriages" are often loveless.....and they really are miserable..and would "sit shive" for their children, (mourn them as if they were dead: should they admit they are gay. The Moslems, are crazier than the Hassidics, and might even feel justified to kill their children....if this happened...OY!
YOu would think that if same sex marriage would be allowed, their children might suddenly want to change their orientation. That would like a white person deciding they wanted to become Black or ASIAN.. rediculous and impossible.

Race commentary takes joy out of movie

When I was in college my English professors used to discuss with the class the symbolism found in poetry. We would dissect poems unmercifully, trying to find the hidden meaning the author inserted into his or her works. By the time we finished, no one was in agreement … and many of us had lost the joy of reading the poems themselves.

Washington Post columnist Courtland Milloy’s op-ed piece examining the role of "race" in the new movie "Avatar" (Other Views, Dec. 26) is like my old English professors, with the exception that the movie’s creator, James Cameron, has made it clear. His symbolism is not that symbolic, but it is quite clear: The military-industrial complex doesn’t care who it kills or that it is destroying the environment. Profit is the only goal.

Cameron also brings out the truth that our government doesn’t take care of our veterans. The hero in the movie is an American war veteran who has damaged legs, and the government will not pay for operations that would make him walk again.

Milloy’s article is cleverly written, but race is not the issue here. Certainly, some of the so-called Na’vi people might be said to resemble many primitive tribes — they use bows and arrows.

In my opinion, Milloy is wrong about the race angle in the movie. Like my professors from college days, he is trying to take the enjoyment out of a wonderful movie.

PSEG SUCKS/ON PHONE ALL DAY, SPECIAL RAVIOLI,BUSINESS

I Started calling PSEG about 8 in the morning, trying to reach them to turn on the GAS....we have no heat...and it was not our fault. i called, and got a menu...after ten minutes, the automatic voice said that there is a 2 minute wait...a woman got on, and couldnt find my account. Tried to explain...she put me on hold....and never came back
called again, repeated process and then there was a ten minute wait, and I was disconected. A few more tries....I finally got another live person who said her supervisor would call back. HE DID !! a few Hours later. He (MIKE) said someone would be out today. NO one showed. AT 5, I started calling again, only to be be more frustrated. I tried to access PSEG on the computer..after signing up....which took 20 min....I wrote a scathing letter...only to get a message that they computer system wasnt working....
My sister called , and she spoke to someone who called her back and said, since she wasnt the owner he couldnt talk to her. She called again, spoke to someone else and said she was the owner..and they said they would call back...they didnt.!!! She called again and someone did call back and promised to be her about 12midnight, which it is now......Then a supervosor called who was supposed to call me back 5 hours ago and apologiged,.....now in reality...why would I even be in my store, at 11:30 in 20 degree weather...Waiting for that assholes call???? I explained again and again....he put me on hold and finallly I hung up. He called back to say, he called another supervisor....and that someone would be here at midnight...Well seems that 2 crews are on the way....lets see if any show????

Special Ravioli recipe.... Make your favorite dough... using a crimper cut the dough to your size, either square or half round(that might make it a perogi?) But here its the filling I am concerned with:

Shrimp and SPinach(with variations)

Prepare spinach fresh or frozen and drain really dry. Chop and saute in butter and garlic and drain again. Add shrimp chopped to small pieces. Salt and pepper

VARIATIONS: WHEN COOKING IN BUTTER, ADD FINELY CHOPPED ONION OR SHALLOTS OR SCALLIONS OR CHIVES

aDD TO THE ABOVE: CAPERS, CHOPPED WATERCHESTNUTS, PINOLI NUTS ( your choice or all)

Add curry power to the butter when cooking the spinach

Add fresh ginger, and or lemon grass when cooking spinach.....

So above you have a basic recipe, that has many different tastes, with a slight addition.....make sure before you fill the ravioli, you squees as much liquid out of the mixture..

You can substitutre many other things for the shrimp. MUSHROOMS,Lobster,real or faux crabmeat, various poultry or meats...

12:14, and PSEG has not showed yet...I am not surprised...I know that they are overwhelmed in this weather...and this economy...lots of shut offs and turn ons...but my dilema is a computer snafu..not a finantial one.

Yesterday two customers told me that tey enjoy the blog....GOOD...since I havent figured out how to put a counter on this blog,I have no idea if anyone ever reads it...when AOL sponsered my blog.....there was a counter and there were a lot of people reading and making comments...but AOL abrubtly canceled all blogs....and my readership must have declined..... But when 2 people in one day said they enjoyed it...it is a bit of inspiration to continue.. Now....I rarely correct the mistakes and spelling....doest it rally matter. Will correct spelling feed the hungry, house the homeless, or heal the inferm. NO!! So why bother.? And i usually write the blog somewhere between 1 and 3 in the morning, with toothpicks keeping my eyelids open.
I wrote an editorial,about the AVATAR MOVIE.....someone from the Washington POST wrote that AVATAR was about WHite man saving the minotiry....and put down the minority,while elevating white man.....I was offended that the RACE card was pulled on a perfectly obvious and delightful movie... So I wrote my editorial...that it was only symbolic of The MIltary Industrial complex, invading other countries to steal their natural resources, while disregarding the fact they were destroying the environment, and killing the wildlife and inhabitants. The COmpany offered a parapalygic soldier an operation if he would help them decieve the NAVI cratures so they could mine their country....the operation should have been paid for by the ARMY, but the message here is also blatant..that we do not take care of our soldiers. The Race Card is not an issue in this movie...

LEFT OVERS: Here are a few recipes that I created from Leftovers from NEW YEARS EVE, I made a great salad dressing from left over whole crannberry relish(w/tangerine skin cooked into it) I made a salad dressing of fresh garlic,olive oil,soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar....and added a few table spoons of the cranberry relish... Then I addeld two table spoons of this into a ripe half of avocado....... YOu can make a thinner dressing for salad out of it...using a little more oil,vinegar and water.
I took a few cups of cubed turkey,can of sliced mushrooms, can of Musrrom soup, half and half, salt, fresh ground pepper, half of a green or red pepper or jarred pimento, two table spoond cooking sherry, pinch of celery seeeds.....and two table spoons or more of the cranberry relish....cook on very slow flame until thickened.. Serve on noodles or rice...
PSEG are the quintessential assholes. They changed their computer system, and somehow our name of the business was no longer associated with GRANNYS....a bill was sent to another business in our building...it wasnt paid and they shut off our gas today...The shut off guy asked questions that I didnt have an answer for....but we have been paying that bill for 8 years...JOhn had to go down to HACKENSACK to re register our name.....and pay a bill, sent to another adress.

tODAY IS THE BIRTHDAY OF MY TWINS... well theya re not my children, but my sisters...but I consider them, as if they were my children. I didnt speak to them today, but officially wish them a happy birthday...
Today, the second day of the new year, a new Decade....business was somewhat good. NOT GREAT,m but good for the 6th or 7th day in a row.Which hasnt been that way in a long time. There were no mega sales, but lots of people buying little to middle size things. It is good to see more people coming into the store.
One of my old customers came in, and told me she is looking for furniture for her daughter.....then she started opening up to me about her son.. He is a Dr and is marrying a horoble woman.The woman, as she said,has him under a "spell" and she is a Dr also.. But the story got worse. Not only is this woman a Dr, and mean and nasty to her (and him) but she is a midget. An evil Midget...who has turned her son against her..and they dont speak much......anymore......then the woman started describing her....and the story got funnier and more heartbreaking.....as she imitated the midget.....her son is very tall...and the midget is well, very short....and somewhat deformed.....maybe she is a dwarf...The woman was both laughing and crying as she told the story.....I explained that the Midget-in-law to be.....probably has so many inferiority complexes, she assumes that the mother in law to be hates her....so she verbally attacks first...and rejects first......its a psychological mechanism.......My advice was to ignore her...ignore the son..STOP GIVING THEM MONEY...and remind the son, that if the have children, they might have to have a Dwarfmitzvah 13 years from now.....he might change his mind....bringing a child into the world that might be deformed

Tonight I went with my sister and my brotherinlaw to the CItris GRILL....in AIrmont NY...I have heard about it for some time, and it has a wonderful reputation....not only that, but they are moving in....next door....where my exlandlord is building a shopping center.. The menu was very creative and the food very good. It was difficult for me to choose...because everything was so fabulous sounding. I ordered two appetizers, but no soup and salad....I had Venison PATE over a mexuline salad with some kind of craberry relish...and....a Crab salad with Caspacho sauce, the main dish was osobuco of lam with root veggies..... My Brohter inlaw had a giant slice of salmon covered with shrimp and veggies..and a special sauce, that he said was fantastic...One of my sister's freind had wild boar stew as an appetizer and short ribs in special reduction..as main course...his wife had shrimp ravioli in a sauce with more shrimp that was outrageous....And there were so many fabulous choices......I should have stolen a menu and put it up here....it would have been good advertising for them....BUt rush down there...becuase they are closing in February....and then reopening in HOHOKUS...right next door.... I was introduced to the owners and we became instant friends.. and will some how work together.....
I thought that I was cooking a small buffet for this weekend..Jan 1,2 and 3. We cooked everything very quickly.....but somehow...there was a tremendous amount of food......and still more left over...lots of turkey,pork,meat balls and stuffed cabbage. and INDIAN Butter chicken...... stay tuned to new recipes..

fIRST sALE OF THE YEAR BY 10:30, aWARD WINING REFLUX

WE HAD PEOPLE IN ALMOST AT 10 AM.....THE FIRST SALE OF THE YEAR WAS MADE BY 10:30, WE DID HAVE A NICE NUMBER OF PEOPLE, BUT NO MAJOR SALES...TO MAKE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN OUR ECONOMICS.
bUT i AM CONFIDENT THAT BUSINESS IS GETTING BETTER. rIGHT NOW, i AM HAVING A REFLUX ATTACK. ONE OF THE WORST ONES I HAVE HAD. I DRANK LOTS OF WATER....TOOK SOME MAALOX, WENT TO DINNER WITH FRIENDS...THOUGHT i WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE THE RESTUARANT BECUASE OF NAUSEA....BUT IT PASSED WHEN i STARTED EATING......CAME BACK, THE BURNING CONTINUED....DRANK MORE WATER....THEN, i FOUND A FEW pepsids...AND SOME MORE MAALOX.
i ALSO DID TAKE A NAPROSIN PILL TODAY, WHICH REDUCES PAIN AND SELLING IN THE LEGS, BUT IT CAUSES.....BURNING....IN THE ESOPHAGUS.
RUSH LIMBAUGH DOESNT HAVE HEART TROUBLE....I AM NOT SURPRISE.. THAT BASARD DOENST HAVE A HEART..OR A CONSCIENCE.. tHIS WAS A STUNT TO GET HIM MORE PUBLICITY AND SYMPATHY. THERE WERE JUDGEDS, POLICEMEN,LAYERS, DRS, TACHERS, A SCHOOL PRINCIPAL, A NURSE, AN ENGLISH TEACHER......PEOPLE WHO OWNED A LAUNERMAT N THE BRONX.....ETC. eVERY ONE WAS SO VERY WARM, THAT IT WAS AN ECHANTING EVENING.
i FOUND IT VERY EASY TO INTRODUCEMYSELF TO PEOPLE.....MAYBE IT WAS A COMBINATION OF THERI WARMTH, AND THAT i QUICKLY DOWN A GLASS OF RED WINE AND A CHAMPAGNE. wHEN NEW YEARS CAME, THE HOSTESS ASKED EVERYONE TO STAND UP AND SAY SOMETHING.. i WAS NUMBER 4 ON THE LIST. i ONLY NEW 6 PEOPLE OUT OF 50.....AND i WAS REALLY BUZZED AT THIS POINT...

But we must remember, that 2009 saw something that we all have been waiting for our entiure lives. We have elected the most awesome man to bcome president.(I didnt mention BLACK man...but awesome man, which is the way I view OBAMA).
