SINCE KATRINA, THERE HAVE BEEN MANY HOMELESS IN NEW ORLEANS...THE 8 PEOPLE WHO WERE KILLED IN THE WAREHOUSE FIRE, VERY WELL MIGHT BE VICTIMS OF KATRINA......WHILE, WE SPEND BILLIONS OF KEEPING A HOPELESS WAR GOING, THAT BANKRUPTED THE COMMUNISM REGINE OF RUSSIA, WE CANNOT FIND MONEY TO REBUILD OUR OWN CITIES, AND PROTECT OUR OWN PEOPLE FROM THE ENEMY OF HUNGER AND HOMELESSNES.
WHILE WE HAVE TO REMAIN STONG MILITARILY, WE DO NOT HAVE TO PAY HALEBURTON TO RUN THE WAR FOR US AND PAY THEM BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, SOME OF WHICH CANNOT EVEN BE ACCOUNTED FOR.....I WONDER HOW YOU CAN LOOSE A FEW BILLIONS DOLLARS??? DOENST SOUND VERY KOSHER TO ME.

SITITNG HERE WAITING FOR THE BLIZZARD, XMAS EVEN AND DAY

SITITNG HERE....WAITING FOR THE STORM TO START....WITH A PROMISED 8 TO 16 INCHES.....ANOTHER DAY OF DEAD BUSINESS...XMAS ON A SATURDAY IS A BUSINESS DEATH SENTENCE.....we had the very worst "XMAS EVE " in the history of my store" EVERYONE IS AT THE ALL..... socks ,shirts, undewear and electronics.....
Then Xmas EVE..my wonderful friend BARBARA had her annual Holiday party.....her house is Victorian, some of th ewalls are painted read...filled with mirrors, fireplaces tat were burning, candles, lots of mirrors....all the rooms decorated with swags of pine, red ribbons and bows.....and candies, and fruits and nuts everywhere.....a pastry table with a dozen different choices was a high caloric decoration and in the middle of it was her annual XMAS PUNCH...with sorbet, blueberries floating on top.....and it was delicious ..Two glasses and on eis in orbit!!! The food was obscene!!! Unlimited giant shrimp cocktail.....Italian pasta with chrimp, home made sausage and meat balls and two types of pasta dishes....hummus.....tuns, crab, and other dips, drinks...and on and on and on...I was so full, I crashed on the sofa....I awaoke in the morning and had pancakes and bacon......a very good XAMS... The warmth of all her friends and assoicated radiated thru the house..Everyone was friendly, except one beautiful but very jealous girlfriend of one man at the party......she hid in one of the bedrooms, taking notes on all the gifts..(didnt make sense) later on she hit another woman with her pocket book,,,,,when she gave her business card to her boyfriends..who...had a business relationship(and nothing more) to discuss....This same jealous woman....has a daughter who has been committed twice to an institution.....once was for trying to attack her with a kitchen knife......which who knows, might have been diserved? It was a mini soap opera.
The snow has started......about 20 min utes ago..and soon, we will be blanketed with white......We already lost a few weeks of business, due to XMAS..Everyone was at the mall...then We lost Saturday for XMAS itself, today SUNDAY, and I am sure tomorrow MONDAY will also be a lost day...The business this years ahas been probably the worst in history.
After haring about"THE MANOR" IN WEST ORANGE FOR MOST OF MY LIFE... I finally got the opportunity to go there.. We partook in the XMAS buffet....The building is like a real ENGLISH MANOR>.....inspired catering hall. The walls were paneled walnut with carvings....the furniture mostly real antique marble top and inlaid furntiure....French Gilded curios..with chachkas in it....Built in and illuminated cabinets with glass and china being shown off in all its glory. Reall oil paintings, Venitian and gilded mirros.. suprer elegant silver serving pieces, chafing dishes.......a huge life size ice carving of three reindeer and a sleigh.....three huge gingerbread houses that were edible....the the eniture place was decorated for Xmas...with many trees, the entre place swagged with ribbons and bows, and pine tree ropes.......
Sometimes people can get just too elegant. The served caviar in a container made of ice...it was the size of a brick, and then one side came up 8 inches over the brick....the caviar sat in the brick and the entire ice container lite up. Not sure how they did it..it glowed..there must be a batter powered lite inside the ice brick...it was amazing looking...but the price for the must have been almost as amazing......and caviar....i have had the best..and still i wasnt impressed. it was still fish eggs....and tasted a bit fish...with onions, and egg..on some kind of special bread..and downed with a bit of RUSSIAN VODKA. a friend of mine has acquired a large can of IRANIAN Caviar....i think she said it was then 400 bucks..and we ate it all. It was ok, although, this may make me sound like a peasant.....I would rather have had a good pizza. In 20 minutes....what ever magic is within the caviar...I found my self running to the bathroom......the fish eggs had the same properties as a laxative.....thank you very much...from here on in, i will not eat caviar ever again!
Now on to the buffet... OYSTERS....unlimited....and I love them. Unlimited large shrimp cocktail..all kinds of seafood salads.....Lox , two different varieites.....Paiella with lots of real lobster, sea food NEWBERG with real NEWBERG(shrimp,scallops and lobster, Sea BAss rolls filled with lobster and shrimp....sushi, and many kinds of other salalds,veggies, GREAT creame of Mushroom Soup, Lobster Bisque...an ITALIAN table filled with Veggetarian casseroles.Eggplant rollatini, tortellinas,,etc.....rack of lamp, roast beef, ham, turkey, Chicken florentine,All types of green salads and dressings, veal meat balls, short ribs of beef,.....and so on and so forth.....untill....looking made you more full....later on when I could not take another bite, they came out with an entiure poached salmon covered with mayonaise and dill.......and that is one of my favorites..but unfortunately, it came out after I finished dessert.
Speaking of desserts.....there were three tables filled.....the best of all was the home made raspberry and lemon sherbert....and as pretty as all the cakes and pastries and creme filled things, and flans, pies, etc.. I somehow was either too full, but i didnt really appreciate the tastes....they had a tureen filled iwth hot bread pudding and another filled iwth hot apple compote.....none of which overwhelmed me.. There were lots of little pastires with fresh fruit in them of all different kinds.....I tasted a few...but I devoured the ices...
Everyone was complaining they ate too much.....I wonder why.....we pay a lot of money to go and eat and then leave uncomfortable/ i guess its human nature...we love the taste of good food, we desire an elegant place, and because its delicious and unlimited..we tend to stuff outselves to get the most value...and it taste so good. Now i understand why at the ROMAN BANQUETS in the time of the Cezars they had a room called the VOMITORIAM....where people went to throw up....after they over ate..so they could go on eand eat more and more and more...
What is not mentioned..is the room they went to, after they had their ROMAN ORGIES, othe ORGASMATORIAM, where they went to recharge their batteries....
I had cooked for and advertised a buffet for today.......to get customers to come shop. I cooked Hungarian CHICKEN PAPRIKASH, Indian Butter Chicken......and was going to make Raviolis in homemade sauce, and hard boiled eggs in a homeade Tarragon/Dill mayonaisse...and a few other things, but the headlines of an on coming storm........I only prepared the first two chicken dishes.....I thought that no one owuld come at all and taste my delicasies..but there are a couple here now who did eat the food..and liked it.....

My expanded ideas about running for president..has taken a slight new turn. If I can get help, not only will I produce the presidential CAMPAIGN, as if it was real....(well it is real, and if by some insance twist of faith, it actually happened, I would accted the job....but with a budget on ZERO, and only the internet...to start off.....it is unlikey I will get more than noticed....but life is strange YOU NEVER KNOW!!!

I am not doing more research into the war in AFGANISTAN....I knew we started it to supposedly get even with the terrorists who caused 9/11 ,but now it comes to light..that they have over a trilion dollars worth of LITHIUM...whichis notonly used for bipolar medication......but its needed in medical hi tech equipment....and in NAVIGATIONAL EQUIPMENT...for airplanes, rockets etc...and we need it to maintain our status as a world power....and we dont want anyone else to get it.......The only way forus to get world acceptance in starting a war there, was to retaliate....after AFGAN based terrorists blew up the WTC.....and all Americans would be in agrement to bomb the helloutof them.....while we are there stealing their natural resources.
