Feels good to be busy

Sat and sun...werent very busy....and most of the people who came in didnt want anything...but today, starting almost a 10:10, we had people in the store all day, and they last ones stayed to almost 8:30 and were buying....
The last customers....who, somehow became instant friends...were very interesting. The man is an actor and director, and invited me to an opening of a show..on Sept 11 (a strange day to be in NYC)
His wife is getting her Doctorate at OXFORD..(across the POND)....both of them are exceptionally charming people, and i think we made a "connection" I really enjoyed the day..meeting new people, and old customers, and the vibrations were good all day.
And these vibes were better than taking a valium.....
I was noshing all day...cooked up a batch of Thai noodles...with peanut sauce...simple and delicious...the noodles were soaked in water for 10 minutes...before boiling..which only took 3 min. These rice noodles...were covered then with a sauce made as follows: two or three tablespoons of sugarless peanut butter, and three tablespoons of hot water, one small garlic clove grated fine, a splash of soy sauce, tablespoon of roasted peanut oil, tablespoon of sesame oil, your choice of heat....tobasco, hot thai chile sauce,cayenne....) heat in microwave...stir...add more water to thin...to a good consistency that "almost can pour, but not quite) taste for balance..add what ever it needs) drain noodels..and pour on sauce....add finely chopped parsley or chives....(ground roasted peanuts optional)
Its hard to belive that Athens is in danger of burning, after it survived for thousands of years. Most people do not know, that Athens....has not always been a thriving city as now, for a long time, it was covered over.......and almsot forgotten, and then a few hudnred years ago, it was rediscovered and brought back...Other greek cities..had been so much more important...Click here: Thessaloniki - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaClick here: Thessaloniki - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A steel beam from the original World Trade Center in New York was returned to the site Monday. Dubbed the "Last Column," it became the final standing steel column removed from the site of the Sept. 11 attacks. It will become part of the planned National Sept. 11 Memorial & Museum.
This steel beam is supposed to be a symbol of all that America Stands for...That we cannot be kept down....we rise up, like the Phoenix from the fire...For strenght of steel, is like the strenght of the people...hard, tough, courages,
But it will be a lasting monument for the corruption of the Bush Government. It will be a tombstone of all the victims of what they called terrorism. It will be a monumnet to hypocrasy...A Monument for greed, power, corruption,. A tombstone,in America for the million Iraqis and Afganis we killed in that war, and a headstone for the death of our economy..... I wil be working on a more sophisticated editorial on this same subject when I am more awake....and I feel a poem coming on..But not tonight.
