I picked up an antique LIFE MAGAZINE from September 1947...that was in my store. It was in near mint condition...There was one article that absolutely infuriated me...it was about some 14year old daughter of a rich bitch,who went on a SAFRI in Africa....there were two pages of photos show her and all the animals she killed. She was sitting on top of an elephan, and a rhino and many other animals that she killed.....she shot them....and she was so proud..that she killed all these animals....and the magazine praised her bravery....
She was praised for killing innocent animals.....and the MAGAZINE glorified murder of inncoent animals....they made a bid deal, that some rich bastard's daughter was able to kill big game.... She was 14 then, now 62 years later, if she is still alive, this teen age murder would be 76 years old.....I would love to find her....and take the rhinocerous' horn, and play proctologist with her.....I would scream at her.... show her the photos of her sitting on 10 dead animals...and ask her if she rememebred......and before getting out the KY to use on the horn(I am not THAT cruel not to use a lubricant) I would ask her if she was sorry for what she did back then, and if her attiude of hunting....changed.
How to make quick Cream of Chicken... Cream of chicken soup, undiluted, two cups of chicken, cup of mushrooms sauted in butter...half a cup of onions sauted, a few tablespoons of sherry....combine in a bowl..microwave...until bubbling... serve on toast.. You can add some curry powder to change the taste to INDIAN.

CHOP UP ONE SMALL HEAD OF CABBAGE. lINE THE BOTTOM OF A LARGE HEAVY POT WITH A LAYER OF CABBAGE.. tHEN ON TOP OF THE CABBAGE PUT A LAYER OF SAUERKRAUT. THEN PUT A LAYER OF OVAL MEAT BALLS WITH THE RECIPE THAT FOLLOWS. THEN REPEAT MAKING LAYERS OF CABBAGEM, KRAUT,AND MEAT. bETWEEN LAYERS POUR ON A CUP OF SAUCE...WHICH RECIPE FOLLOWS:
meat: TWO POUNDS OF MEAT, CUP OF UNCOOKED RICE, A FEW CLOVES OF CHOPPED GARLIC, SALT,PEPPER,HALF CUP OF CHOPPED PARSELY, TEASPOON OF PAPRIKA,TWO EGGS....MIX IN A BOWL AND SHAPE INTO OVAL "MEAT BALLS"
SAUCE: TOMATOE SAUCE, OR THICKER CRUSHED TOMATOES...TWO TEASPOONS OF SUGAR, 4 TABLESPOONS OF VINEGAR, TABLESPOON OF SWEET HUNGARIAN PAPRIKA, SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE. TEASPOON OR TWO OF GARLIC POWDER...PUT IN BOWL COMBINE....TASTE.. SHOULD BE SWEET AND SAUER..WILL GET MORE SAUER WHEN COOKED WITH THE SAUER KRAUT ....
POUR OVER EACH LAYER IN THE POT.SHOULD HAVE LIQUID UP TO THE TOP. BAKE FOR 3 HOURS SLOWLY AT 300...DEGREES
