Sometimes its hard to write things when you cannot mention names.....but there had been trouble in GRANNYS LAND....a lot of he said she said was going on......someone was making trouble, and still can figure out who it was. One Employee wanted to quit because they were told I hated them...whic is very rediculous, when my employees are considered family. I thik the problem was straighened out...
Finances had been in deep kaka....for the main drag, MAPLE AVE, had beeen more or less closed for two months this summer.....they dug it up for new water lines, gas lines, and paved and dug that up and repaved it again...Our entrances had beeen block half the summer...and when people can not get to you..you cannot sell and therefore...cannot make sales....and of course the buildings owner do not want to hear excuses...They had been somewhat patient...but they lost it....and we have to come up eitho a lot of money with a deadline...Hence....the infighting and valium.
But two miracles so far came thru...John bought an item...while I was in Europe and sold it this week for a 9000 profit....and he sold another DR set that was sittign here foe at least two years...for another 9500.......and i supposedly sold another 8000 item...but havent been paid..The customer left 100 dollar deposit..but I have faith in her that she will return.
I am still very sad that we had to fire an employee when I was in EUROPE...John, said he was acting up, wouldnt listen, and was drunk as a skunk one SAT...and since John has great interest in the store. I belived him and gave him the authoirty to fire this person...who, I had also considered family.. But John is deserves the respect of letting him make decisions..never the lesson, I am very sad to loose this person.....of ten years emplyment.....very said indeed.
We had a few very good house calls in the psat week, mostly chachkas..of quality. and that perks me up a bit. But the most interesting even of the week was three days ago. Three people with Latino accents were browsing. Their smiles were infectious.and they understood my broken SPANISH...they were kind enough toeven say I speak very well in PSANISH..which isnt reallay true...They were very nice and diplomatic....(funny choice of words as this will soon play out) We talked about everything from Politics, the History of LAtin America and their particular country.....then we went on to American Politics...the war, religion, poetry, philosphy and JOKES. Our mind sets seemed to mesh incredibly. Their warm just oozed out and they felt the same about me...WHY..who knows....Then the conversation turned to food.....and comparative foods in Central and South America..aand they were surprised I knew how to cook foods from all of them.. Well, I asked them if they would do the honor of coming to my house and I would cook them a dinner with foods from all over the world.....my travels....and collected recipes. They accepted.....
I asked him to fil out a piece of paper with their name and adres and phone number....he smiled, opned his wallet and gave me his card. HE WAS THE AMBASSADOR TO ONE OF THE SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRIES.. THE BIG CHEESE......THE MAIN HONCHO. AND THE GUY IN THE SUIT WHO WAS VERY WUIET WAS HIS BODY GUARD......HE LIKED THE FACT THAT I INVITED HIM AS A STRANGER..AND HE HAD NO IDEA THAT HE WAS A PERSON OF :INTEREST: AND THE FRIENDSHIP WAS REAL.

THIS WEEK MY COUSINS DOG DIED AT AGE 17...AND SHE FELT GUILTY OF NEGLECT....i TOLD HER THE DOG HAS A GREAT MOMMY AND ONLY LIVED THAT LONG BECAUSE OF THE WONDERFUL CARE SHE GAVE THE DOG.......BUT NEVER THE LESS, SHE WAS SUICIDAL.....BUT HOPEFULLY OK NOW.........AND ANOHER DEAR FREINDS ALSO WAS SUICIDAL THIS WEEK......SO MORE REASON TO TAKE VALIUMS......WHAT A CRAZY WEEK....OY... AND TEHN WE HAD THE ELECTIONS.
plEASE..AMERICANS ARE SO STUPID.....I CANT STAND IT..nOT THAT THE DEMOCRATS DID SUCH A GOOD JOB, BUT WHERE THE HELL WERE THE COMPLAINING REPUBLICANS, WHEN BUSH AND CHANEY JUST ABOUT BANKRUPTED OUR TREASURY....AND NOW THESE REPUBLICANS WANT TO BLAME IT ALL ON BUSH AND THE DEMOCRATS...TO ME, MOST OF THE REPUBLICANS ARE TRAITORS...BUT THEY ARE TO BLIND TO SEE WHAT THEY ARE DOING....AND SARAH PALIN......IS A DANGEROUS JOKE. THE WOMAN IS SUCH AN ASSHOLE..AND PEOPLE LISTEN TO GER.....SHE IS A MORON....AND HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS EVEN TLAKING ABOUT...sHE SHOULD HAVE HER WON RELAITY SHOW...AND A DOCUMENTARY ON COLONOSCOPIES....BECASUE SHE SHOULD REALLY BE AN EXPERT ON ASSHOLES.
LUCKILY ANOTHER ASSHOLE, WHO WAS A WITCH, LOST HER ELECTION....NOT THAT WITCHES ARE NECESSARLIY BAD..BUT I DONT THINK WE NEED ONE IN A POSITION OF IMPORTANCE. A WHITE WITCH IS A GOOD PERSON..BUT A BIT OUT THERE....MOST OF THEM REALLY JUST BELIVE IN ALTERNATIVE MEDICINES AND DIFFRENT WAYS OF HEALING..AND USING PSYCHOLOGICAL MEANS OF LETTING THE BODY HEAL ITSELF......THEY REALLY DO NOT TRY TO TURN PEOPLE INTO FROGS AND OTHER ANIMALS....tHEY DO NOT WEAR POINTED BLACK HATS AND FLY ON BROOMS....(IF THEY DID) I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A TWO SEATER BROOM....TO GET AROUND TRAFFICE.
QUICK RECIPE: i DONT KNOW WHAT TO CALL THIS......BUT HERE GOES.. IN A BOT OF BOILING WATER I ADDED CALIFLOWER, CARROTS, ONIONS, GARLIC, POTAOTES, PARSELY, CELERY, EGPLANT...AND BOILED IT DOWN FOR AWHILE...ADDED ONE MED CAN OF TOMATOE SAUCE, CAN OF EVAPORATED MILK, THEN ADDED CUMIN, CORIANDER, CLOVES, TUMERIC,GARLIC, SALT AND PEPPER,AND A HINT OF CURRY POWEDER..AMD HALF POUND OF BUTTER.COOKED IT ALL UNTIL IT ALL WAS SOFT..AND THEN A BIT OF TOBASCO. cOOKED DOWN THE LIQUID IN HALF.....SERVED IT OVER RICE. iT WAS TOO MILD TO BE CALLED A CURRY...BUT THE FLAVORS MELDED NICELY AND IT WAS VERY TASTY.....
tOMORROW, I WILL TAKE 4 CUPS OF IT AND PUT IT INTO A BLENDER, AND ADD A CUP OF MILK AND IT SHALL BE A SOUP....AS WELL.
