I have been listening to WINS for years..They have the news..if you want to call it NEWS... and they repeat the same shit every ten minutes. until you can memorize it and do the news program yourself.
What I noticed,their advertisers are really so low end...border-lining on crooked and scamspters. Or just down right FUCKING ANNOYING>
The one I hate the most is the one that starts" Hellow,m this is GARY STANLEY, usually I talk about sports, but today I am talking about getting a loan, or a mortgage.. and he goes on to tell why the company he is representing is so damnwonderful that they approve the loan over the phone, so quickly...not like other banks, and they charge less fees..
This had , the very same one has been on there for many years...and I am so tired of hearing his voice and the very same commercial. Why dont they change it a little????First question...who the HELL IS GARY STANLEY.....and second....why in hell do I care that he got two mortgages from this company..(a ML MOSCOWITZ COMPANY)
Then there are the companies that are promising you absolutely free (they repeat the abolutley free statement at least three times) then they go one to tell you that you need to call and give your creidt card....for shipping and handling.....the catch here, that the shipping and handlin charges are so rediculous high, that you really are buying the product/
They tell y ou to hurry up and cal in "for this is a limited offer...and there is a limited supply.. of course besides the absolutely free (charges for shipping and handling) you can for another ten dollars, rush the order...in two or three days....Now tell me, what ever the shit that they are selling...you lived without it for your entire life...so why would you pay an extra ten dollars to deliver a product you dont need and never used before....that probably isnt even worth the ten dollars for shipping and another ten to rush it......
Now as for the limited quantities.....busllhist...This add too has been on wins for two or three years.. I am sure they would have run out of the free stuff long ago...
One of the products is called "PROSTRATE HEALTH" pills.. because they say they"care about our prostrate" It is so reassuring to know, when I lay down at night, there are poeple out there....people and complete companies that care about my prostrate....
Another company who sends free(plus shipping and handling) Is "HYROXOLITE....that is supposed to get rid of wrinkles...there limited supply has been offerend now for three years....Another free offer is LIGHT SIDE SMOOTHES...a poweder that youad water and you loose 12 ponds the firs 4 to 7 days...." they too have a very limited supply for free(plus handling and shipping) and this ad has been on for years...and to drink this stuff and loose 12 pounds the first 4 to 7 days sounds like reall bullcrap.
There are other wieight control products offered for free....
Then the organizations that want you to donate your car or boat.....CARS for KIDS...., The LI"CHIAM SOCIETY.....Organizatiosn for cancer, diabetes, and all other disease, but not the ones you normally hear of....I tried to find them online and what they really do..and nothing concrete can be found.....all they do is buy and sell cars. They praomise a tax deduction..and a free vacation.....all of them...including the salvation army.....I GAVE THEM MY 1988 JAGUAR..WHEN THEY CAME TO GET MY CAR I DIDNT GET A VACATION OR A TAX DEDUCTION...NOTHING.....
