The Sun Finally came out,FOOD(of course) relaxing

The sun finally came out for the first time in 5 days....bright shiny and everything looks more colorful...but the rain never depressed me......just being away from the daily grind, for the first time in 5 years is refreshing. No schedule to adhere to...to special time i had to get up....just relaxing and when we go somewhere its the spur of the moment....with no great expectations.
My limited Spanish...is not as limited as I thought. I can order from retuarants, go shopping in the stores, and even ask for medicines at the pharmacy.....and engage in conversations..of course my grammar is much to be desired, people can understand the GRINGO
Yesterday we all piled into the pickup truck, and drove out to the PYRAMIDS...built by Eddies ancestors a few thousand years ago...
eVEN THOUGH,,this is a small retuaration....and that much of the tops were missing, it was an awesome glimpse back in time....the size of them were small in width and breadth too....which might make them some of the earliest extant....we walked around, posing on stone pedastle, imitating the gods of ancent times..we laughed got silly, George said the area had an echo...since we thought we were the only tourist there...he yelled our various body parts and curse words to reverberate in the 20 acre or more historical land mark, surrounded by the orginal stone wall. We walked a few feet and realized, a large group of people heard our obsenities..which made us get hysterical......then a large AGerman Sheppard can running up to us....I extended my hand...and EDDY got scared....an stepped back. The dog opened his mouth and grabbed my hand....IN PLAY...we played and Eddy looked on in horror, sure that I would be eaten alive..This dog was a huge puupy at heart....just looked scary
Today is Good Friday......forbreakfast Eddies mother made the typical local sausage and beans, which we stuffed into Corn tortilla shells, that we bought commercially yesterday....After we ate the meat ones, his Grandmother, who raised him and lives down the block, called to invite us for GOOD FRIDAY tortillas, which turned out to be sardines and scrambled eggs and hot sauce....which didnt really dound so great, but with hot sauce and cilantro, was very nice..and different...Today we might go to the GULF and have a fresh whole fish cooked for us...
